What's a claw cap? Scratching from people is fine. But not very good at cuddling.

They're little rounded plastic things you glue on to prevent scratching and clawing at furniture.
Harmless, only last a couple of months before they grow out, if I recall.
I've seen a few kitties with them on and it doesn't seem to bother them!
