Hoh? Make no mistake. Though they appear small now, they will grow to be vicious and protective beasts. I would not approach them so easily. Convince me further that I can trust you around them.

Oh no... how majestic they will be... It is overwhelming simply to imagine it!

[ his mind races as he tries to think of how to convince ozymandias to let him meet the sphinxes. like he literally feels like he might die if he can't successfully convince him. ]

If you let me meet them, I will... I will not bring my wand, or I will leave it in your safekeeping, and in that way you can be certain of their safety, since magic is my only weapon. ...And as for my own safety, my barrier will activate on its own to protect me from harm even when I don't have my wand, so... no matter what, we shall all be perfectly safe!

[ tbh he's not sure exactly what ozymandias's specific concerns were w.r.t. titus meeting sphinxes, but he hopes that covers all the bases. ]

It is because of the way they sparkle, and because of their little paws and ears, and their little wings, and the way they roll and play!
I don't think we are particularly bereft of magecraft—I am a rather accomplished mage myself...
But I suppose we are indeed bereft of whatever specific magecraft is involved in creating these.

So you are taken with their appearance! Consider it an effect of my own doing. I had to make them almost as equal in majestic as myself.

The kind of magecraft required to create these is an advanced technique. Not everyone is capable just as not everyone can hold the title of the Construction King. Manipulating magecraft to this extent requires a power laced with divinity such as mine. But I am curious -what can your own magecraft accomplish?
