[But it works out well; while Jotaro focuses on slathering mud and treating the burns, Star takes the opportunity to separate out his hair into portions and begin weaving them together.]

Ah, but I did promise him when we were speaking earlier. It's very cute how much he adores you.

[It's nice, actually, to have his hair played with. Soothing while the skull mud is spread onto his lacerations. It's uncomfortable, a bit burning, but when it's over with he'll be glad for it.]

[The mug is about half-empty by now; it's good progress being made, and most of the marks on Adrian's arms and chest are now caked in the concoction. That leaves the rest for the legs, Jotaro muses, as he uses the spoon to smooth out the application and make sure there are no lumps, so that it'll dry evenly.]

Star can't do anything I won't let him, but he can do some things independently, if they're within those boundaries. He decided on his own to do the things you ask him to. I've never told him not to, so he can do what he wants.

[From what he understands, that's... actually a big deal. A Stand is the fighting spirit of the soul. That's not just Star listening to him, it's also Jotaro's heart.

He smiles to himself, despite the strange situation they're in, skull creme and all.]

[As he finishes up, the spoon goes back in the mug, and he reaches to take Adrian's fingers in his hands, holding them at the ends to avoid getting in the way of the drying muck. As Star finishes the elaborate woven knotwork he's twisted Adrian's hair into, he secures it with a last strand and then comes around to idle at Jotaro's side, so that it's the both of them looking at him.]

...I'm glad you love all of me. It'd be okay, I think, if you couldn't. But I'm glad you can.

Of course I do. Even when you can be an absolute bastard. Sometimes especially when you are. ...Loving someone for all of their qualities and flaws is a part of being together, I'd like to think.

[And he's welcoming more of that for himself. Letting himself love so freely. It's wild and dangerous it feels like sometimes, but he's trying to be aware of that.]

[It's a testament, then, to precisely what Jotaro had said — that Star can't do anything he isn't implicitly allowed to — that when Star's hand immediately comes up to rest flat against Jotaro's face and push him out of the way so that Star can claim first dibs on his kiss, he couldn't be doing it without Jotaro's tacit acceptance.

And really, it is pretty funny.]

[But he's laughing even as he allows it, slumping to the side as Star maneuvers his way in and lifts his face expectantly.]

Yare yare...well, I guess you have been waiting. Fine, Star, he's all yours.

[The sheer eagerness from Star makes Adrian laugh genuinely and warmly. Trying not to disturb the drying mud, he keeps his hand in Jotaro's, but his attention to the Stand.]

[Leaning in, Adrian presses his lips against Star Platinum's, unable to help but chuckle softly against his mouth. The tone is nothing but fond, adoring this part of Jotaro as well.]
