[ Cehd'ra offers a half-shrug as he nods. ]

Fully, aye. 'Did that once. 'Fore that it was more... [ He rubs at his chin. ] The changes wouldn't amount to much half the time n'warmth was more just...really, really nice 'stead of the cold being a bother. But after that? 'Can't go a cycle without at least losing my legs.

[ He's going to raise an eyebrow and try his best not to look as alarmed as he suddenly feels. ]

And what... size were you of, if I may ask?

[ It's okay Cardan, it's weird. The fact that Cehd'ra has grown so complacent about it all probably doesn't make it less so. ]

That was the other odd thing: 'grew over the course of the cycle. Started near to a fulm 'have to say? [ Holding his hands close to a foot apart is awkward with the device on one of his wrists, but he tries. ] And by the time it ended I...

[ A pause, his brow furrowing. Pink stains his cheeks. ]

'Was much, much bigger.

[ .......he frowns, having caught only some of what Cehd'ra's just said. Are some of those words even words?

What he definitely does catch is that blush; it's intriguing (not to mention attractive). There is a sly look on his face when he leans forward, his chin braced on one wet hand. ]

And how large was that, exactly?

[ At the edge of the screen, his tail pops lazily out of the water, drawing foam trails on the water surface. ]

[ That pink grows deeper, Cehd'ra shrugging through his attempt to answer. ]

'Couldn't exactly measure m'self.

[ His own ears are twisting, one of them flicking before he reaches to give it a scratch. Off screen completely, Cardan may be able to hear a muffled whump as his tail twitches against his cushy seat. ]

S'big as a man, at least. Or...big enough t'haul one around...

[[ ooc: I'm really sorry this is so late! ]]

[ He's always had a thing for cats; the flicking ear draws his attention. He imagines what it might feel like to the touch -- soft, warm, mobile.

He's also, admittedly, not sure why Cehd'ra is so flustered, not that it matters. Cardan's nothing if not opportunistic. ]

And did you?

[ His intent gaze is back on Cehd'ra's face. He doesn't bother hiding his slow, indulgent smirk. ]

[ A perfectly regular question, were it not for all the innuendo it were dripping with. ]

[ The reason he's flustered...well, he doesn't want Cardan getting anymore alarmed by telling him all the details. But then he hears that shift in the man's tone, sees the silken smirk growing on his face even through the tiny little screen.

Maybe he wouldn't be so alarmed after all. ]

Mmn...some, aye.

[ Some secrets will have to be kept but Cehd'ra does his best to step up to the game, one ear twisting forward to better hear Cardan speak. ]

Personally 'think it's funny, looking back on it. Though at th'time he was cursing up a storm over it...

[ He moves again to lean back, this time, the water sloshing gently around him. With his head against the tiles, he slides slowly down into the tub, eyes half-lidded. ]

Perhaps you might show me, someday.

[ It is possible that flirting is not his only interest in the conversation about giant snakes -- but, well, why not mix business and pleasure? ]

[ Now Cardan has all of Cehd'ra's attention. Off camera the tip of his tail begins to curl back and forth, his eyes darting over the screen, watching Cardan's face relax...

He really is a beautiful man. ]

It keeps surprising me, how many folk seem t'like snakes...n'how much they like them, too.

[ Cehd'ra's smile is bright enough to show off his fangs. ]
