I hate to say it, but I understand that others have a hard time accepting things that are different.

When I was left out of things for this reason and others, I simply told myself that I would get stronger from the experience. You deserve to experience whatever your heart compels you to, my friend!

[ Shigeru knows he's right and he knows that he shouldn't let other people's opinions of him get the better of him but...sometimes it just hurts to be at the receiving end of such things. Haurchefant must be really strong and have a lot of self-esteem to go through things like that and just brush them off.

Yes of course it did. But it just made me all the more determined to find happiness for myself whether they wanted it or not.
