His hand falls away from the camera and he smiles at it, sitting back and tucking a loose lank of hair behind his ear. His bangs are a long mess across his forehead and framing his face anyway; really, he could stand a haircut. ]

Hey, my name's Inuzuka Shino, and I'm asking for your help and guidance today.

[ He briefly bows to the camera from his seated position. Straightening up, his hair's all framing his face again, a mess. ]

I'm trying to set up a romantic date for two of my most important friends here, but I don't really know what's good outside of good food, so... Something that's not related to a lot of technology, that's nature appreciating, I think that'd be good? If anyone has suggestions on stuff like that, I'd be thankful to hear from you.

He's a martial god! He's really good at fighting and with all kinds of sharp things, he has a whole collection.

Well I think being good at fighting and being good at trimming hair aren't necessarily the same thing... but it sounds like he at least would have a sharp enough blade.

Why don't you combine good food and nature for a memorable evening? You could set up a good meal they could eat while flower viewing and let them take things from there. Perhaps they'd walk the park afterwards if you chose to stage it there.

I trim mine before festivals, yeah. And sometimes we have to trim our manes, but those are harder to reach so... I always asked my parents.

I don't think he'd be content not having something to do. He went through a lot of jobs before he found the one he's at now.

There are many green spaces throughout the city with flowering trees, but if flowers have been held less than a positive note lately, it might not be the most settling with what you have in mind.

Star viewing is a thing, though. With or without a good meal behind it, it's an activity that can be considered very romantic. Some people will travel very far to acquire an unpolluted view and it generally gives the couple a degree of privacy certain other activities don't.

I wonder if there are any star showers in the forecast? That could be worth looking into.

Star showers... when a whole bunch of stars are streaking across the sky? That could be really neat. I think if you get outside the city the light from the city is distant enough you can really see the stars, but the safer areas too, hm. Along the beaches? Nothing is in the way of what you see there, and if you're not swimming, there can't be any seal or octopus incidents or anything.

Then that could be something like packing a picnic and blanket and warm things in a thermos. Miso and tea? Or warmed sake, too? I wonder if there's any kind of glowing in dark topping you could put on a desert...

... Is there anywhere not annoying sandy on a beach, though. Out in the hills? Anywhere where you can't see Level One is gonna be better for seeing the stars, right?

[ He's gotta get this right for them. Or at least, get them the best experience he can. ]

If no stars are falling, maybe I can make it look like some are. Are there anything like fireflies or lights that act like them here, you think? I remember more than one summer where I'd see those out in the meadows at dusk and early at night.

Right. It's not like we can't do it by ourselves if we have to, but trimming and currying our coats and such... it's just easier if you have a partner help.

Being worshipped and watching over your people's interests is hard here, or guarding land that isn't yours, I imagine.

You're not kidding... I haven't even bothered with brushing all of myself when I've been deer-jinba, which makes my fur all crazy after visiting the bathing pools. Does yours get long enough to be wavy? My chest fur and the fur on my legs tends to, it's such a bother.

Mine only gets long in the cold seasons, and I just finished shedding the last of my winter coat, so now things are fine... Maybe you should roll more.
