[he's not going to flash a peace sign, or anything. but he sure looks happy, sitting there, wearing his normal clothes and... a party hat?]

I'm just gonna come out and say it. Today's my birthday! I'm nineteen... I think... My last birthday, I was eighteen, so I'm gonna count this!

Haaa. I've been here for almost a year...

[his smile falters just the smallest bit, but then he's pushing whatever brief bout of melancholy he has to the back of his mind and waves his arms]

If you wanna come visit me, I'll be around! My door's open! I've got snacks and games out!

[ He feels like he probably can't call this guy "oniichan" like his screenname, that might get weird, especially since he's already got to work so hard to remind people that he is an oniichan himself bc no one believes him..... ]

[he's here by himself right now, but there is a table with drinks and food behind him. the food appears to be a whole platter of tempura shrimp, vegetables, chicken, and various choices of yakitori. he wasn't kidding when he said there was a lot of food]

[ He feels the need to say it again now that they're in person. It's his celebration! Taichi looks around first and fortunately doesn't go right for the food. He just looks excited to be here. ]

Really? Are the movies here weird? I was watching some TV in the motel I was staying in before but I haven't seen any movies yet.

[ He knows housing is free but why would he move into a place when he could wait and find out where his friends live to move in near his friends? So he spent all the chroma he wasn't really making much of on a motel room for the first couple weeks he was here. ]

[he pulls up a guide on the television screen. it’s neat, high-tech]

Mmm.. anything but horror is fine.

[ He's so bad at horror! 8'D It scares him. He goes to grab some food now though while Osomatsu starts looking through the guide. ]

[anything but horror is okay. Osomatsu likes horror, himself, but it's not his favorite]

C'mon, Prismatica, don't let me down. [he says to himself, but then raises his voice to talk to Taichi] A lot of the movies I've watched here have been kind of strange. Like, bizarre alien humor or romance I don't understand. But maybe I've found something.

[ Once he's got some food (a little of everything- this stuff looks like food from home, he's excited) he joins Osomatsu in front of the TV. Comedy is a great selection. Taichi's into a lot of stuff and will watch a horror if he's told to, he's just a chicken. His new friend doesn't need to know he will cry yet, he wants him to think he's cool. ]

Are you from Japan, Osomatsu-san?

[ He may get a nickname later, but right now Taichi is still being polite since he doesn't know him well enough yet. ]

[hello, fellow nickname-giver! if they're going to be friends, Osomatsu will probably give him one, as well. for now, he thinks Taichi is plenty cool, since he came to his party and brought him a cookie]

Veludo Way! Ah- I don't think it exists in all of the different Japans? Which is still crazy to me.. why are there so many Japans anyway...?

[ He's getting off track. He turns on the couch so he can watch Osomatsu while he's talking to him. ]

It's like the theater district! The theater I'm a member of has a dorm I live in.

[Osomatsu sure has not heard of Veludo Way. but other people he's talked to have not heard of Akatsuka Ward, so...]

Theater District, huh? That sounds like a lot of fun!

Yeah! I've wanted to be an actor for years, I'm still reeling I finally managed to find a place that I can do that.

[ He looks genuinely happy, then a little sad. He's homesick. He's not used to being away yet. But he keeps the smile on. ]
