I'm just gonna come out and say it. Today's my birthday! I'm nineteen... I think... My last birthday, I was eighteen, so I'm gonna count this!

Haaa. I've been here for almost a year...

[his smile falters just the smallest bit, but then he's pushing whatever brief bout of melancholy he has to the back of his mind and waves his arms]

If you wanna come visit me, I'll be around! My door's open! I've got snacks and games out!

[ He says while there's a clan of pots and pans being taken out from the cupboard. ]

[oh geez... Osomatsu thinks about this. he doesn't know much about the different types of cakes, and how they are made. he just thinks of Bishop as some magical chef wizard that can do anything]

Oh, uh... Maybe something summery? Like a strawberry shortcake? Or what about a light and fluffy vanilla chiffon cake. Though I really miss green tea flavored sweets... Haaa! It's hard to choose!

Picking a cake is usually the hardest part of a birthday. But something summery...

[ He also wants to take Osomatsu's personality into consideration as well. Just a bit of a surprise. Stumbling through his fridge he finds a few things he can use and if he quickly dropped by the cafe he could use the oven there. He's sure Marie won't mind (cause he won't get caught). ]

Alright, I think I have something in mind that you'll like. Give me a couple of hours and I'll bring it over.

[ He's glad that he could brighten up his day even just a bit. The cake is sure to make it even better so he'll put in a bit of extra work. A summer berry layer cake would suit the kind of person Osomatsu is he thinks. Most of the ingredients are already in his possession but, he doesn't know how many people will show up so best to make a medium sized one to be safe.

A quick trip to the cafe with the ingredients in tow, and a couple of hours later Bishop will be sending a picture of the cake in question. ]

Of course I made it! It's a bit more elaborate than what we serve on a daily but, it is a special occasion. I'm glad you like it.

Alright. Give me a bit.

[ Though just bringing a cake doesn't feel like enough. Maybe he could bring or prepare something else. Then it strikes him, the perfect things to compliment the summer theme and bring a little more to the table. Literally, and perfect thing Salon de Marie is on level one.

After a quick run to the store, a few minutes in the kitchen, he heads over to Osomatsu's place and knocks on the door excitedly. ]

[Osomatsu's been waiting by the door, he's so eager. he hears footsteps outside and stands, so by the time Bishop has knocked, he can open the door instantly]

[he's practically shaking with excitement. already he's had a really great day, despite having his birthday away from home. today, Osomatsu has learned just how many people care about him here]

[ He hands over the box in the Salon de Marie case, though the item inside is off the menu. ]

Soba Noodle salad. Something healthy to balance out all the sugar.

[uwaaaah he loves noodles, too! Osomatsu holds onto the cake box as though it were precious. it is, to him. his own cake]

[ That's a shame. Oh well, more for him. He takes a glance at Osomatsu's place with his usual casual smile, though it slowly started to grow. ]

Mmm, not too lively! A few friends showed up, but we didn't do anything crazy. Just ate, played a few card games, things like that.

[ There was some relief when those words landed on his ears. He knew Osomatsu wasn't exactly living his best life here, and was worried for boy. He's a good kid, good people should be happy. ]
