Hard to say, really. Many people are pretty quick to accept the hand that feeds them.

I'd say that if it didn't seem like they wanted to act as batteries. I feel like even if we bit back a little, they'd let us go because the reward for our Moonlacing is more important.

Though I'm sure plenty have tested their limits. They tend to just use the Moonknights when we're misbehaving.

They wish they were. They've yet to earn my trust.

They've barely proven they can take care of their own with the continued chaos.

Why should I trust people that even can't even take care of their own citizens to take care of us?

True enough. I had thought that perhaps I was mistaken as I am quite new to the city, but it seems first impressions is the right impression in this case.

Exactly. Certainly, there are things that cannot be avoided, but unrest is a sign that those in power are unable to truly comfort and look after their own.

That's my thought, too. They're nothing more than the ruling body in name.
