What is your favorite number?
There are wrong answers.

Mine is 5. It's part of my name.

I'll call this number choice...!
It's not wrong.
But it is...!
Sexy.
A very, very lewd choice.
no subject
Is there some meaning behind it that I've never heard of?!
Ah, I'm sorry... I'm just a little taken aback.
To be honest, I'm the fifth member of a certain group I'm a part of, so many people associate with me with the number 5.
I had no idea it held that sort of meaning...
I'll have to look into it further.
1/2
He likes this person, and feels a little bad for bullying them.
Even if he does think the number is sexy and the choice is lewd. ]

Yes, it's a sexy prime.
It's the very first sexy prime of a sexy prime pair that there is, too.
Meaning, it's a person's very first choice and very first chance to have a sexy combination.
It seems like people never told you about it, though!
How surprising!
[ Not really! Only Fukuda's this fascinated by numbers. ]
Or perhaps, they did know it... and were trying to be subtle about it.
[ He can't help teasing him a little bit more, tho. ]

[This is what happens when you take things way too seriously all the time. Sure, he could brush it off, but he's admittedly really curious... especially since this guy seems to know so much about numbers. (Why does he know so much about numbers?!)]
I see... Actually, the unit I mentioned being a part of is called IDOLiSH7.
The sexiness usually falls on the 4th or 2nd member, but we all have various outfits that incorporate our numbers, on top of everything.
With numbers being a prime element, it really is curious that nobody's mentioned it so far... things like that would usually come up in interviews.
I wouldn't call myself sexy, so maybe they were concealing it for my sake.
In that case, I'm somewhat grateful... but it's also nice to know the truth. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

[ He makes a soft "ooo" noise. He's never actually spoken to an idol before. They were the sort of people that he used to feel very close to back in his world, even though he knew that was an impossibility. So, he can't help but be a little happy... ]
I see, I see.
[ Fukuda suddenly feels a cold sweat run down the back of his neck. He feels like he probably shouldn't watch IDOLiSH7. His arithmomania would have a field day, and he isn't really sure that he wants to go on that trip.
But... he really does owe the people like IDOLiSH7 that helped to make his world seem a little less empty and without any connection to the outside world. ]
Why 2nd and 4th? Were they just chosen to fulfill those roles?
What does come up mostly in your interviews?
...Well, most people don't call themselves sexy.
Unless they're very, very confident in their appeal!
You're very welcome.
Sorry for the super late response! Feel free to ignore this!
For the most part, yes. We didn't choose the numbers on our own, if that's what you're asking.
Fufu. You have a point! But other people don't call me sexy either, for what it's worth. That isn't really my area of expertise.
[He usually gets "beautiful" or "elegant" or "gentle" instead, but again, that's best unspoken.]
But as far as interviews go, it's mostly questions about upcoming performances and events with a few questions about our personal lives. Think of anything the paparazzi or news outlets would ask a celebrity in your world and you can probably get the idea.
NO WORRIES. I went on a brief hiatus so I'm good with replying.
Oh??? What is your area of expertise?
I guess that makes sense. Paparazzi and news outlets really do seem to be the same no matter what world that a person goes to. I remember those idols that were bouncing around earlier in the city before they ended up being part of a cult.
............................ your band isn't part of a cult, is it?
We're short hiatus pals. As long as you're sure!
My whole unit isn't actually here - it's only Tamaki-kun and I, so we're operating under the subunit MEZZO". You may have seen us around, but our activities slowed down during the idol craze...
If I can promise you one thing, it's that we aren't part of a cult.
IT'S ALL GOOD!
MEZZO", huh? And it makes sense that your activities would have been slowed down due to what happened. But you know, there are a lot of people that take solace and comfort in idols.
Since you two aren't in a cult, that means that you can still offer some help to people who have been betrayed. Right?

But you're right. Now that the industry is back to normal, we're doing our best to set a good example and spread joy through our music. It sounds simple, but you sound like you have a good opinion of idols, so I'm grateful. Thank you.
Still, I feel like I've been talking too much about myself without a proper introduction... I'm Sougo Ousaka. It's a pleasure to meet you.
If I can ask you in return, what's your favorite number?
no subject
I know that idols are thought to be silly or that you all don't work hard. But I know that isn't true. It takes a lot of effort and work to reach out to others and connect with them.
Nice to meet you, Sougo~ And I'm Tamotsu Fukuda. Nice to meet you.
My favorite number is ........................................ 3.
