[ This is something Persephone probably should have done a few months ago.

There is a very pink young woman on the screen. She gives a sheepish little wave as she smiles.

] Hello, my name is Persephone and I'm the Goddess of Spring back home. Yes, I'm an actual goddess, it's not just a title. Yes, I am as pink as I appear, I'm not sunburned. [ Her gaze drifts away from the camera as ticks off things that have been brought up to her. Her tone is cheerful. ] And yes, for the humans from various different versions of Earth, I am the Persephone of Greek Myth. But the stories you know are wrong...to an extent. If you have any questions pertaining to that I'll do my best to answer them.

Also, you don't have to treat me special or anything just because I'm a goddess! I'm really normal aside from the fact I randomly grow flowers in my hair sometimes. [ It's really not that random. ]

A-anywho! I'm making this post for a reason beyond that. One, I'm curious if there are any other deities from other worlds here. I've met one and spoke with another, though I believe she's gone now. If you are a deity I'm curious how being here has affected your abilities. I-if you wish to share, that is!

For anyone else, I'd like to hear about the gods of your world. If you have them.

Too hot under the co-- OH! [ She cheeks burn hot pink as she realizes what Nike means. ]

You seem to have a lot of different abilities. I just...erm, cause plants to grow everywhere when I get...excited.

[ She nods in response to the question. ] As the Goddess of Spring I can make plants grow anywhere and it certainly happens without me meaning for it to when Sanguis is in effect. It's rather frustrating.

[There may be a sympathetic nod after realizing what she meant. It was sometimes difficult to admit she can feel when a large enough group of the individuals are feeling powerful emotions -- horniness, was apparently one of those emotions.

But when Persephone begins to explain her powers, Nike will listen since it was a first she has met a deity ties with the season instead of weather.]

I can only imagine. I mean, Sanguis is the moon with a fiery mood change? [Or what she senses it to be like. Sanguis makes her feel like she is stuck in the early summer.] The flowers you grow during that time don't become....aggressive, right? They are just normal flowers?

[While she thinks about it.]

If you don't mind my asking, how long have you been in this world?

[ She might also cause the weather around her to warm up into spring-time temperatures, but she's mostly associated with flowers. ]

I suppose that is one way of putting the Sanguis mood. [ She'd go with irritable. ] They're normal flowers unless I decide to control them, but I'm not as adept at that as my mother is.

Six months. What about you?

[DEITIES HAVE PARENTS!?

DON'T MIND NIKE COVERING HER MOUTH BECAUSE WHAT WHAT WHAT!?

SO MANY QUESTIONS ARE GOING THROUGH HER MIND ABOUT THIS! HOW DOES THIS WORK!? WHERE DO BABY DEITIES COME FROM!?

NIKE WAS TRYING HER VERY BEST TO KEEP HERSELF FROM WANTING TO ASK EVERYTHING GOING THROUGH HER HEAD.]

[Covering her face, she is trying so hard to......calm her thoughts and emotions down. Wow. Her mind was trying to....understand all of this and and and...]

[Okay, after concentrating on the question given to her. Nike is just covering her eyes now. With her hands. Trying so hard to not ask all the questions about babies or families or how any of it works.]

H-Half of that time. Um, 3 months. I've been here for that long.....

[Lowering her hands a bit to look at the other pink girl with some.....or rather a lot of embarrassment.]

Has um....has the moon gotten better or worse....for you? As time goes on...?

[ Persephone tilts her head a little and gives the screen a concerned look. ]

Um, are you okay? [ She'll answer the questions, that was half of the purpose of this post. ]

Oh...well... It's gotten worse for me. [ And then quickly adding because she doesn't want to discourage Nike. ] B-but that's not the case for everyone! If you find a partner I'm sure it's better.

[Well. Nike will just put her hands back onto her mouth. She really wanted to ask how the whole family dynamic works between deities. Do they create their children or procreate them...? Like humans and wildlife do....? Or was she just taking the whole -- deities creating humans like their image -- too literal....?

Lowering her hands a bit, she may start to go pale by the explanation over things getting worse. The mention of finding a partner may just.....sink her encouragement a bit. Her green gaze will turn away as she...tries not to think about it.]

A partner....? [Oh crap! She is thinking about it!] ...did it get better after you did that...? Because, honestly, I'm scared of it getting worse. I already lost somewhat control of myself in the last triple moon. [She ended up literally making out with another girl. One she met on the very same night without thinking it twice. Ever since then, she hasn't stopped thinking about it. That and the feeling of the world trying to absorb her consciousness during the triple moons. She feels it most when alone in a dark or too bright room.

If it is no longer safe to be out in public during the triple moons, then she has no idea what to do.]

...have you ever felt like this world is trying to...aborb you? [Or better yet.] Trying to slam into your consciousness....? [No, wait, she thought of a better way or describe it.] Or change you to be someone else...?

[ She'd be happy to answer those questions. Though when it comes to her own conception that one's a bit of a mystery as she doesn't have a father...

Her smile falls from her features as she looks off to the side. ]

I haven't. So things aren't better for me. [ In fact, she crystallized during Sanguis but she's not about to mention that to anyone.

Her lips twist, brow furrowing as she tries to think of how to answer that. ]

I'm not sure it's so much trying to change me as bring out a part of myself I've worked hard to lock away.

Really? You haven't? [Okay, that confession was very surprising to hear while all at once maybe not. An almost forced smile will appear wondering...] ...it's difficult, isn't it? Finding someone you can trust or even feel comfortable doing those types of things without it escalating or being manipulated to... [Ah, she can't say much more. After all, she was just assuming it was the case because it was her own reasoning and experiences. Minus one other thing, but she is trying to not think about it.

Then again, it was clear after listening to Persephone, she may not be the only one trying to do the same. Nike will look up at her, wondering about the meaning behind the other deity's words. It was difficult to not be curious about while all at once this wasn't the place to pry over it neither. Everyone had a different story, different struggles to overcome.]

That sounds...very frustrating. Frightening too. I'm guessing it's worse during the triple moons? [Feeling thoughtful, she'll wonder.] Don't you have someone to help center you during those times? Someone to stay with you?

[For the record, she'll add.]

And I mean this in the most platonic of ways! Like a friend! A support buddy! That one person you adore but have zero attraction to!!!

I thought I had but I made a mess of that. [ Her shoulders fall as she lowers her gaze. A weak little smile plays across her lips as she speaks.

It's been especially difficult for her due to how she was raised and what was expected of her. And then matters were complicated more by someone else shortly before she arrived. ]

It's bad whenever Sanguis is active. It doesn't seem to matter if it's during the Triple Moon or not.

[ She looks back to the camera and shakes her head, forcing a smile. ] Thank you, but it's better if I'm not around others during those times.

Did you...? [Learning that detail about the other goddess's life will leave Nike feeling a little sorry for having brought it up. It almost made her wonder how she could possibly make a mess of it. Did she end up falling for whoever was her partner? It seemed like one very likely option. Easy enough to assume.] I'm sorry to hear that!

[For both the issue with her partner and preferring to be alone while she was struggling with herself whenever the moon was present. It almost made Nike wonder if there was anything else she could do to help but knew better. How many times has she been possessed or used by someone else to do their bidding? Nike will look down, wondering out loud.]

But, you know, even though we can't do much to help each other deal with this, I'm glad you reached out to talk about it. It helps me feel less alone and awkward. So thank you!

[And with a softer smile.]

You're the first...or maybe the second deity I've met? But definitely the very first female high-rank spirit I've met!

Yeah... [ She's not sure if Nike's question is simply there to confirm she messed things up or if she trying to ask for details. Her thought would be partially correct though. Her crush had developed into something more. She wouldn't have called it love but she certainly has stronger feelings than she expected to have for anyone other than Hades (though certainly not as strong as those feelings).

But she feels like it was what she did during Sanguis that really messed things up. She could have just crushed her feeling downs, she's convinced she's good at that. ]

I'm not sure I reached out about that in particular...the conversation just kind of moved that way. But, um, you're welcome.

Oh, I wouldn't call myself high ranking. I'm barely known back home.
