Hello to anyone who's seeing this. My name is Malcolm Bright and I'm from New York, Earth... 2020. [ That still feels weird to say, but he feels like it helps give people an idea of the world that he comes from. ] Lately I've been doing yoga in the mornings out in one of the parks on Level 2 and I thought I'd put it out there to see if anyone wanted to join me. I'm not a yoga teacher by any means, and you might be better served to see if there's a class at the gym if you really want to learn, but I'm willing to help anyone who's a beginner.

Or, if you'd just rather come and do your own thing while I do mine, that's fine too. [ He realizes that it will be hard to work on his breathing and mindfulness if he has to try to show somebody the poses at the same time. ] We can talk after.

Yes. I'm familiar with China in general, less so with specific regions within the country.

From what I've gathered, I'm from a long time ago for many people here. We use swords and horses and cultivation.

Yes, our technology is more advanced than that. I find it interesting that the law enforcement here uses swords and not more advanced weaponry.

Perhaps they discovered that sometimes the old methods are better methods after all.

As much as it pains me to say, a sword is not as effective in taking someone down as a gun is. However, a gun is much more deadly much more quickly, so if you're aiming to incapacitate only, a sword might be the way to go.

I do. That's standard for law enforcement where I come from. The agency trained me.
