Hello to anyone who's seeing this. My name is Malcolm Bright and I'm from New York, Earth... 2020. [ That still feels weird to say, but he feels like it helps give people an idea of the world that he comes from. ] Lately I've been doing yoga in the mornings out in one of the parks on Level 2 and I thought I'd put it out there to see if anyone wanted to join me. I'm not a yoga teacher by any means, and you might be better served to see if there's a class at the gym if you really want to learn, but I'm willing to help anyone who's a beginner.

Or, if you'd just rather come and do your own thing while I do mine, that's fine too. [ He realizes that it will be hard to work on his breathing and mindfulness if he has to try to show somebody the poses at the same time. ] We can talk after.

[ Malcolm's looking forward to hopefully meeting some new people this way. This place is huge and he knows he's only scratched the surface when it comes to interactions with his fellow Moonblessed. ]

You're more lively than most of the senators where I come from.

I haven't always been a senator.

[ She is pretty young compared to what he would think of as a senator. ]

What did you do before that?

[Oh. Well.]

I was queen of Naboo.

[prodigalmess]

[ His eyes widen slightly. ] You're a queen? [ Of a whole planet, apparently. ]

Was being the key word. Naboo elects a king or queen, and most usually stay the two terms before moving on to something else.

[prodigalmess]

Oh, interesting. Queens aren't really elected where I come from, at least not to my knowledge. It's a hereditary thing. My country doesn't have royalty though. We elect a president and members of Congress.

[democratically]

Each planet is run slightly different. I've friends from the planet Alderaan, which is a planet that the monarchy is hereditary. Other planets may be run by a government, or a dictatorship.

It sounds very much like the different countries on Earth. We're similar, just on a planetary scale rather than a galactic one.
