Hello everyone,

I am running a store in the farmer's market. It was quite challenging. I have figured out how to sell stock of fruits and vegetables, but I am also learning how to make coffees and teas, and quick meals in my small kitchen.

I never realized running this all by myself can be overwhelming. I am looking for some help with the register or watching the store while I go make deliveries or while I cook. Just a helping hand or two. I don't have much, but the meals are on me.

Hello! [ Peter gives a friendly smile, ears perking up. ] I can't help with the job, since I don't have any experience with these sort of things, but I am interested in your products. If we have to spend our Chroma, better do it among fellow moonblessed, right? Do you have strawberries or cherries?

It's perfectly all right, I got the help I need. Chroma is the currency among the moonblessed, but I'll happily take demichroma. I have both strawberries and cherries. They are very big and red. If you eat them, it will make you happy and full of energy.

So if you're interested, come on by when you're in the farmer's square.

[ What a polite kid, Peter really isn't used to it. It brings another smile to his face. ]

Likewise. My name's Peter Quill but around the galaxy, they know me as Star-Lord. Not like it matters much here now that I am grounded. A pleasure to meet you.

Ah, good to know. I don't mind sharing Chroma as long as you're fine with handshakes, hugs, and that sort of thing. [ He's got a girlfriend and he plans on staying faithful to her. Peter is still getting used to this planet's way of exchanging currency. ]

I was thinking about getting some for someone special. I know she likes strawberries but I don't think she's ever tried cherries. They're not easy to find in space. Will do! Do you have store hours set or I can just show up there any time in the morning?

You simply show up for the morning or afternoon! It's fine with me either way.

Oh, about chroma. The currency is in the form of handshakes and fist-bumps. They say sparring works, but I haven't formerly challenge anyone for a duel in martial arts or sword-fighting yet since I tend to run out of chroma quickly because I am cordis, so it probably works better for the sanguis.

They sell a lot of fruits in the farmer's market, but lots of flowers as well! I bet she'll like those. But I have cherries in stock.

[Sizhui's mind will be boggled with confusion and awe. Coming from an ancient world.]

Star-lord..? Galaxy...? Do you live among the stars?

I'm trying to become a proper morning person, so this is a good motivation to get out of bed early.

Those work perfectly then, handshakes is what I went for when I had a booth in the marketplace as well. Swords aren't really my thing but if you ever want to spar against an expert, my girlfriend is fantastic with them. [ Gamora wasn't known as the deadliest assassin in the Galaxy for nothing. She never really enjoyed the killing and only did it to survive but she's still very, very good with any sort of sharp object. ] She is Sanguis, indeed, while I'm Cordis like you. I how tiring it can be to run out of Chroma so quickly. I'm hungry a lot, it's a pain in the ass.

You know, I think I'd like the flowers more than her but I'm for sure getting us cherries. You wouldn't know a good place around here to get new swords?

[ Sizhui is free to ask all the things he wants, Peter loves talking about space. ]

I used to, with my crew. We lived in a spaceship, a bit different from the ones they have in this city, though.

Sound like a good motivation as any. When I rise with the sun, I'll think ahead of time with a plan to start my day right.

I'll think about it! I used to spar, but nowadays, I spar sparingly as my chroma tends to burn out quickly. For now, I am running this store because I'm learning about nutrition and how food affects the body's metabolism.

Hmm, I don't know where else you can get a sword. I have mine which came with me from my home world.

[Still, he smiles, trying to be helpful]

That sounds neat to live in a spaceship! [Sizhui himself knows very little about interstellar space technology, coming from an ancient world where the closest thing to technology is a horse-driven carriage and then some] You can watch the stars and the moon much closely!

How is it any different? Your world sounds very much complicated!

I should try to do that, the problem is that I can't do on this planet what I usually do for a living when I am with my team. We protect the Galaxy and answer to distress calls, being stuck in one place puts a damper on that.

Ah, that's a shame. You could always find yourself, someone, to spar who's okay with hugging or kissing once you're done, Problem solved, you get exercise and Chroma.

[ Peter here giving sound advice. He smiles back and gives a nod. ]

Don't worry about it then, I'll find the right place eventually. I still need to see most of the city.

It's fun, I'm not going to lie. But I like flying a lot but it's not for everyone. The universe is really beautiful up there, you just need to remember not to get too close to the stars or you can end burned into a crisp.

[ To be fair, Sizhui's world has flying swords and that is just as cool. ]

Well for starters our ship is meant to host people, so we all have individual rooms, a kitchen, a communal space...It's not just for transport. And the ship also has a ton of weapons in it.
