Well, that's what life here has been like. You can get by without an intimate partner, but it's a lot more difficult. Plus, the moons tend to dial up sexual desires, and a lot of cultural notes are built on the idea that sex isn't considered especially private or scandalous.

But I've also heard of a place where a certain minimum of sexual activity was enforced, so I was worried there might be somewhere else like that out there.
