dope! music is definitely a huge passion of mine. do you make any yourself ... ?

some of it's pretty sick actually. i'm a bigger fan of hiphop beats but i can actually get behind most of the jams in this.

It's a little embarrassing to admit in a place where I don't have much proof, but I'm actually an idol back home. I've started songwriting too, but I still don't feel confident enough to show anyone my work just yet.

The songs are catchy, aren't they? It isn't my usual style of music either, but I've found myself enjoying them the more I listen to them. Some of the songs are much more impressive and complex than I was expecting, so I can see why you like them.

But since you're a rapper, I'm not surprised that you prefer hip hop. I've never tried rapping before, but I have a lot of respect for rap and hip hop artists. Have you continued it here?

props to the people in charge of the game's music, tbh. some of 'em are real head-fillers.

i haven't really, nah. it was usually me rap battling for territory against other groups, so now that we don't have turf like that, it's sort of moot, you know?

It may be hard work, but it's equally rewarding. I like keeping busy, so I've honestly had more trouble adjusting to being here and not constantly having something to work on.

I can't say I've heard of rap battling for territory, but I also don't know much about the rap world beyond the more famous songs and artists. Not many of the indie artists or underground venues I used to visit had much involvement with rap, but that sounds amazing.

Even if it's not for a rap battle, you don't get the urge to perform here?

yeah i bet! seems like this place has been such a shock to everyone, i don’t doubt its a ton on someone whose used to doing so much like idol work. but afaik with idols it might feel a little freeing ... ?

amazing is one word for it, yeah. it can be painful and damaging but winning a battl is a high like no other haha.

i do sometimes. more like ... lower stakes stuff, you know? like just a small freestyle show in the square.
