Hello, everybody!!

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to find or commission Wedding Dresses here? I'm sure they're around somewhere, I'm just not entirely sure where to start looking.

I'd also gladly talk to anyone about making a dress!

I've gotten a few suggestions that I can follow up on, at least. I just don't know what kind of styles they have here. I'm sure I can take some inspiration from it, though!

Speaking from experience, decisively knowing what you don't want isn't a bad thing.

Parkas, for example. I don't like coats that thick. It doesn't mean I know what kinds of coats I do like for sure if I ever need one, but it's a start?

Yes, definitely. Knowing what you don't want is especially helpful when trying to figure out a wedding dress. Or any clothes, for that matter, but there are times where you can kind of accept a few things you don't like in order to just have clothes, I guess?

Well, I'm an odd case there since I can shapeshift to create clothes, but... In general, yeah.

... That sounds really cool. And convenient.

I mean, yes. Overall, being a demon has its conveniences. But I'm not sure I'd recommend it in spite of that???

Yeah, I'd imagine there would be some downsides to that. I'm a little curious as to what you've had to experience as a demon, especially since my fiance is a half-demon, but I understand if that's something you're not up to talking about.

Where do I even start, honestly.

First thing I should note is that 'half-demon' is a spectrum, but almost that entire spectrum is different from full demons. For one, we're not "born", we're either "spawned" or "formed" - I'm an example of the latter. A mortal's soulstuff and some metaphysical sacrifices, plus demonic power, equals new Succubus, in my case, for example.

Among other things, that means full demons didn't really have a 'childhood' - whether spawned or formed, we pretty much immediately have a fully-formed intellect, and can catch up the gaps very quickly for our natural roles.

Huh. I think I kind of understand ... We had a few mechanical-made beings back home, they were pretty much created as thought they were fully-grown humans. They still had their shortcomings, though ... Kunzite didn't understand human emotion very well at first.

I can't say that's unfamiliar. I was 'taught' to understand the darker side of people's emotions easily and manipulate those, but seeing people as possible friends... It took quite a bit to even be able to allow myself to think that.

You're better about that now, though, right? I certainly think of you as a friend. To be fair, though, it's not that difficult to befriend me.

I'd like to think so, at least. and more importantly, I can have people who are friends just for its own sake now, rather than as 'what they can do for me if I do the right things for them' type transactional junk.

That's great! It's good to have that sort of feeling, right? To know you can have friends and not wonder what they want from you all the time?

Or what I can take from them with the right bit of manipulation, usually was more what I thought at the time.

Being brainwashed is one hell of a drug.

I can imagine ... I haven't ever been brainwashed, but I did kind of share my body with someone for most of my life, so she had the ability to take over whenever necessary. She didn't like doing it, though.

That. Definitely sounds like it's got a story behind it, to say the least...

... There's only a few I miss from my original world. More from the place I was at between then and now, honestly, but that's its own story.

Yup. Two-time winner of the 'interdimensional kidnappee' award. As if one... Well actually the first was objectively very good for me, if I'd come straight here from my homeworld it wouldn't have gone so well.

Me too. I was brought to another place before this, but I went back home in between that place and this one. It gave me some time to resolve some things back home, at least, but I hate that I had to leave Rin alone for so long. It's not like either of us had any control over that, though.

Makes you worry given people randomly disappear here, too, huh.

I can only hope I return to the Rift, or if I do get sent home I can escape to... Fuck, I don't even know where would be safe from the Demon Queen of Lust. But SOMEWHERE.

If it does end up happening that way, I hope that you're safe, wherever you land. I care about my friends, and even if they end up in a place where I can't see them anymore, I'd at least like to think that they're safe, you know?
