Helloooooo Prismatica~!

[the feed starts up with a very bubby, busty blonde bouncing onto the screen, all smiles as she waves to the camera, showing off very little of her aparment and more of her assets. but she's relatively quick to fix the angle of the shot, and laughs lightly.]

I'm Milly Ashford, the self-titled Miss Moonlace, and all around fun girl, and I'd like to invite all of you to a party I'm going to be hosting in a couple months. Seems pretty far out, but you don't know how much time planning a big event takes! And I'd like for you all to be able to look your very best-- you'll thank me later for it.

I think one of the most interesting parts of this planet is our moonblessings, and how we transform into incredible and beautiful beings because of the moons. I came from the spaceship Lagunbiru, and the Britannian Empire before that, and we had nothing like this in either place. I'm excited to learn more about it and experience all the moons have to offer, and more than that, I REALLY want to celebrate it. So you all are invited to a moonblessing masquerade, hosted by yours truly! More details will be given the closer I get to it, but it won't be held during the moons, just so you can be whatever blessing you want! I think that'll be pretty fun, don't you?

[the angle of the camera changes to show a bit more below her neck, and she leans in a bit closer, pouting ever so slightly.] But see, I don't have quiiiiite enough Chroma for all my plans, but I will! However, if you'd like to help a girl get a little kickstart, I'm not opposed to any of it. [there's a wink for the camera, and she blows a kiss for good measure, making sure to highlight her best traits.

but as fast as she plays with the camera, she's just as fast to straighten up and give a little salute.] Hope to hear from you all soon with your RSVPs and ideas! I really hope no one has thrown anything like this recently, or I'll have to start from square one... [should've thought of that earlier. hmm. oh well. and with that she gives a little shrug and laugh, waving goodbye as she turns off the feed.]

I've never been to a masquerade before. That sounds really fun!

[Plus she can be pretty creative with a paper bag, cutting out holes for the eyes, and drawing whatever kind of face she wants on it. (It'll probably be terrible.)]

I'll try to raise some Chroma too! Let me know if there's anything I can help with, I don't mind sticking around to clean up, or showing up early to set up the decorations.

You've never been to one?! Oh, Orihime, they're so much fun, and they're so romantic. My student council and I hosted one for charity once... You don't know who you're dancing with, but they're wonderful for that moment and-- [she sighs wistfully] You'll never want to go to any other kind of party ever again.

[which is... maybe true. still, any party is a good one, and she'd never say no to that.]

Really?! You will?! Thank you! I promise, this will be totally worth it. I'd love your help with planning. If you want, that is. I think you'd be able to add something unique to it!

[Oh, right. They have to dance, too! She's only done that once, and both she and her partner were novices. ...Eh, she'll figure it out. One of her friends has to know how it's done, then she can practice.]

Wow, that sounds amazing... I'm not very good at being romantic, but the mystery part definitely seems like it would be fun. Do people make up mystery identities too?

[Her contributions will certainly be creative, no one can deny that. Milly can probably salvage and refine those ideas to be more palatable. She beams, nodding once and clapping her palms together.]

Yeah, I'd love to! Honestly I haven't been to many parties at all until I came here. I could probably bake some stuff too, if you need it. It'll be exciting to see what kind of planning goes into these!

[she knows just the person to teach orihime how to dance. if lelouch won't help her in the planning stages, then she'll hook him some other way. truly, how could he refuse such a cute girl?

there's a laugh from milly, and she nods.] That's the fun of the masquerade! Anyone can be anyone they want to be for a night! I could be a sultry vixen, or a fair maiden from far away, or a wallflower, or anyone in between! We hide behind the masks, but let our true selves come out to play! [the theatrics of it all are far too much fun, and she bursts into a fit of giggles, hiding her face for a moment as she composes herself, and returns to the camera with a grin.]

You've never seen a party like an Ashford party. This will be the best one you've ever been to, I promise. My grandfather was practically infamous back home for the galas and soirees and balls he threw. If my grandmother didn't stop him, we would've been totally bankrupt. But they were so worth it... Anyway, just know if you're in, you gotta be all in. Are you ready for that?

[And Orihime will be a robot. She's decided already.]

Ha ha ha! You could be a different person for every dance partner, if you want!

[Milly certainly has a talent for making everything she touches into a fun and exciting event. How could she not want to help out? And the more Milly talks about just how grand the party will really be, the wider Orihime's eyes get. No wonder she's trying to build up Chroma!]

It definitely sounds like it'll be the best for real! The winter ball was neat, and it had fireworks and free food, but I'm way more excited for this! I'm super ready!

[She salutes.]

I'll try to go on even more dates!

[Maybe she'll actually kiss someone too.]

[Before he starts the video to respond, he just... pinches the bridge of his nose for a few long moments. Its not as if he's never questioned his life choices before, but now he has one more reason to.

But he takes a deep breath, and manages to put on a friendly face for Milly.]

You don't waste any time, do you?

[truly, the man of the hour, the actual brains behind all of this. she smiles brightly, glad to see him.]

You know a party takes lots of planning, and one this fantastic is going to take tons of work. Might as well start earlier and be way ahead of schedule than start later and have to play catch up the whole time!

[oh, she loves orihime. she must be protected at all costs. the enthusiasm radiating from her gets milly even more excited, and she's ready to divulge all her plans so early in the game just to ensure that the younger girl is prepared for the most exhausting, but the most fun, party planning she's ever done.]

You'll have to tell me all about the winter ball, because I want this to be even better. I'm not sure about fireworks... [as much as she loves how they look, it's how they sound that makes her nervous.] But we'll have something even more spectacular than that, I just know it. We'll come up with something together!

[at the date comment, milly bursts out into laughter, raucous and joyous, shaking her head at orihime, so terribly glad she gets to witness all of this.]

Even more dates, huh? I don't know how you don't have twenty boyfriends already. You really are something else.

A masquerade sounds lovely. I can't offer much in the way of Chroma but if you need any flowers for decor I can help.

Really?! I would love that. Are you a florist here? Trust me when I say I'll be one of your best customers if you are! I owe anyone who's willing to help me with this a huge favour.

And your invitation will be one of the first ones sent out! Pinky swear.

Goddess of Spring, actually. So I can grow whatever you need or cover an area in flowering vines or something like that.

[ Though maybe she should look into setting up shop as an actual florist. ]

Oh, those were pretty much the highlights. There weren't any special events, it was just held in a nice warm place during a blizzard, you got to dress up in formal clothes, there were fireworks, finger foods, a dance floor...and free alcoholic drinks too, I think?

[Orihime didn't drink anything, so she's not sure.]

Ah! How about a fog machine? That'll make it even more mysterious! And much harder to guess who you're dancing with!

[~~And more prone to cause hilarious accidents.~~]

[Her grin is lopsided as she rubs the back of her head. It's...complicated. She might be able to form an actual relationship if she still weren't hung up on just one boy who isn't even here, and probably doesn't even think of romance at all, let alone perceive her in any sort of romantic light.]

That sounds fun, but I'd be worried I'd forget someone's name, ha ha...! Anyway, I'm sure you'll meet lots of nice guys that are interested in you too! You're really pretty, and fun to be around, and you're hilarious!

...Oh. [sorry, her b. she didn't foresee inviting an actual goddess to her party.] Oh! That's incredible. I've never spoken to a goddess before, I don't think... I really don't know if someone with power like yours should use it on silly ol' me, but if you'd really like to, I'd be so grateful.

I bet your apartment is a dream, if you can do all of that. And. Should I be addressing you by a title? I'm sure I should be. Hmm...

[ Aqua can't help but stare in confusion as her video message starts, having chosen that more by default than anything else. But... ]

[ Aqua, was that really the part to be focusing on? ]

That's quite alright, you don't need to speak to me or treat me any differently than you would anyone else.

I don't really have a place in the world so I'd like to help out where I can. And a bunch of pretty flowers at an event like this would certainly make people happy.

[ There's a short pause as she glances around at all the greenery in her apartment. If anything it makes the place feel even smaller than it already is. ]

It's...okay. My name, Persephone, will do.

[ God bless Milly for being able to just wave her tits around on screen at people. Cornelia would probably die. Cornelia's a bit more modestly dressed. Also, already like... sitting. ]

It's a lot to learn. I've already sprouted feathers.

...but I would not object to attending, if I don't have to do it in such a state.

[there's a bashful sort of smile from milly and she can't help but laugh as she shrugs.]

Mhmm! I had a little stand for it in the farmer's market, where I would hold hands with people, or hug, or kiss, or whatever, just to help generate some chroma for both of us! But isn't the name too cute?

[oh! milly spots the feathers in cornelia's hair, eyes wide as she scans over them, the butterfly wings at her ear tips fluttering in excitement.]

You look beautiful, Your Highness. You seem to be able to make anything work for you!

And I'd love to have you come. I'll make sure it's on a day where you're feather free, so you can be whatever you'd like. That's the fun of the masquerade, you know?

[ It's annoying! Milly can't even see the wings properly, at least. ]

I - thank you Milly.

[ Still, nice to hear the praise. ]

We should choose a date later in the month then, no? I believe that is how the cycles seem to pan out.

[Oh. Okay, things suddenly made a lot more sense now. Her face did go a little red, considering the fact that 'kiss' was listed on there, but that was probably her brain associating what usually happened during Iris with her than anything else.

... Anyway she should probably say something so-]

I see. That... I didn't spend much time at the farmer's market. And I guess the name is cute...

[oh, how cute. aqua is embarrassed, even though milly didn't try to do that intentionally. if there's no challenge, then it's not nearly as fun, but still, she can admit the flush on the other woman's cheeks is pretty.]

Oh! It was so much fun. The people of this planet are so kind and creative, and the food grown here is so good. I think I ate my weight in grapes during it...

Thanks! I think it really gets people's attention, too! Moonlacing is a number of different acts; people don't usually think it's as easy as a pinky promise or a handshake. [she smirks.] Sex sells.

[she beams to cornelia, taking her gratitude in stride, and listens while considering what dates she could pick. later in the month, huh? next month, if it's past this day, then maybe it could be--]

My birthday! My birthday is later next month, the 24th! If that's how the cycles work, then it would be perfect. A day free of the moons, but not of me. [she laughs, and cracks her knuckles.] I'd love it. What do you think?

[ Cornelia didn't know Milly's birthday but that's... that's convenient? Almost as if she's planned it that way, but the reaction seems a bit too genuine. ]

I'll have to bring you a present as well, won't I?

[ Her laugh is a soft chuckle, her smile more restrained. ]

It sounds fitting, though.

Wow, that's really sweet of you. You're like... the people's kind of princess! That can only mean we'll love you more and more until you're the absolute favourite.

["i don't really have a place in the world" strikes her a little too harshly for her liking, tears right into her heart in a way that is familiar. it's a poison dart, one she can't just pluck out, but it pushes her to reach out across the phone line.]

You can find a place with me! You've got an amazing power, Miss Persephone, and using it to help make people happy is the best thing you can do. Frankly, you don't even need me, but I want to help you in return for what you're doing for me.

Well, your presence would be more than present enough. Don't worry about a gift; if I can see your smile that night I'll be happy.

[which is true, and cornelia's laugh sends tingles through her skin. it's nice to hear her enjoying herself for once. and with milly? she's rather lucky, isn't she?]

Though, I'll be sure to give you my dress size just in case you think just showing up isn't enough.
