[ He laughs a little, the sound of a soft purr audible through the device. ]

That's fine. As long as the color can be restored, I can wait.

[ Because...the alternative is shaving his head. ]

[ On the bright side, he'd only have to wait until his moon for his hair to grow back instantly! ]

Alright, darling. I'll be waiting! I'll set up a spot to get your hair done.

[ Two weeks bald is still far too long. Not the least because of...other...problems.

But Estinien makes very good on his word: a bell out, he is once more knocking on Felih's door. He is wearing a jacket with a hood, because while he typically does not care what people see and what they think of him...this is a bit much.

His hair is orchid pink. So are his eyebrows. ]

[ Felih's ready for him by then, and his ears perk up when he hears the knock. He happily opens the door, reaching for Estinien's hands and tugging him inside. ]

Welcome, darling~

[ He tries to tug Estinien down for a kiss, but halfway through the gesture, he freezes, stares, and feels his eyes go a bit wide. ]

....ah... you- h... how...? Even your eyebrows...!

[ It says something about Estinien's comfort level around Felih that he allows himself to be pulled down despite his poor mood, though he does step inside to make enough room to shut the door behind him.

Then, he sighs. ]

An incident with the slime at the hotsprings led to this.

[ Felih relaxes after that, and hums. ]

Aaah, that would do it... it was such a bright red. I wondered if it would stain- now it seems it would.

[ He finishes tugging Estinien down, tip-toeing so he can kiss his mate, purring away and letting his tail wiggle behind him. Even now, he's so evidently smitten with the dragoon, and a hand comes up during the kiss to comb through the man's hair- pushing down the hood in the process. ]

Luckily, the color is... lighter than I had worried it would be. It will take less work to get pink out of your mane. And whatever pink remains will easily be dealt with once your moon comes around- yes?

[ For a moment, he only sighs against the plush warmth of his lips. The last few days have been trying on his nerves, making him disinclined for intimacy and softness, but...

The ease of Felih's closeness and his own calm and comfort have a way of bleeding over.

The moment passes and he returns the kiss, his mouth pressing close, even though he stiffens slightly when all his hair is exposed. He's not a...very vain man, but he has his limits. He does not care for this color at all. ]

[ Felih thrills when Estinien returns the kiss, and when he feels the man tense, he only presses a little more firmly against his lips, the kiss warm and languid and sweet, trying to help him relax a little more. As entertaining as it is to see him with pink hair, Felih doesn't want to risk the man's ire at the moment. He can tease him once his hair's been colored back to normal. ]

Then, let's get to work. Come, sit here... I'll first do a treatment to remove as much of the color as I can, and the a second to cover what remains in a color more your own. You have such lovely hair, naturally, so I admit I'm eager to see it back to its usual state...

[ He does relax a few ilms more, allowing himself to be guided further into the apartment and to a place to sit. His shoulders come down a little as he does so, allowing him to roll his head and briefly touch his own damnable hair.

It is a bit...dry and damaged.

He has tried to wash the color out more than once. ]

Does this treatment work on all hair?

Hardly any treatment works on all hair, darling~! There's so many different hair types.

But you need not worry, I prepared everything with yours in mind.

[ Felih purrs, gently cloaking Estinien so as to avoid getting hair or product onto his clothes, before he starts with gently brushing out the locks. He does pout slightly down at them, though, seeing the state they're in. ]

Hm... while I'm at it, I'll probably do some restorative treatments too. Your poor mane has been through the wringer...

[ That is not quite the 'all hair' that he means, but perhaps they can get to that after they have dealt with the hair on his head. ] It is appreciated.

[ The small, warm noise he makes is automatic; he does enjoy people touching his hair, even when his hair is in a sorry state. ]

All my own efforts have come to nothing.

[ Felih can't help a soft laugh as Estinien mentions his efforts. Clearly, those efforts have ruined his mane... ]

Just relax, my darling. I'll do everything I can. Luckily, for all this, 'tis mostly a matter of applying the mixture and waiting some time before I get to work on it...

[ With that, he begins to treat Estinien's hair, starting at the scalp and working his way down to the very ends of it. He takes several different bottles, all unlabeled with apparently homemade ointments within, mixing them as needed and applying them to Estinien's hair before allowing the entire mane to rest in a wrap while the compound works its magic. Literally, considering Felih gently lets some aether flow over the locks of hair, apparently activating the mixture.

Alchemy can be useful in unorthodox ways. ]

At least you won't have to cut it all off! Although, I may trim a bit off the ends... they're quite frazzled. If that's alright with you?

A pleasantness to all of this. It is nice. It is fundamentally nice, almost in an animal manner, to have fingers in his hair and to have them work down and through all the sadly battered strands. It should come as no surprise that Estinien has never subjected himself to a hairdresser, not for many a year; he cuts his own locks when they become too unruly. His time in Lunatia has contained the most attention to his hair in his life entire, and not only because of its damnable growth during the Sanguine moon.

By the time the wrap becomes involved, he is relaxed enough to not consider how silly he must look in it. ]

It is alright.

[ He trusts his expertise. ]

[ It probably helps that Felih gently massages the mixture onto Estinien's scalp as he works too, ensuring he gets all the roots. His own form of haircare products are gentle on skin, so he's not shy about working it into his scalp. He works the product through all the locks, before leaving it in the wrap, and he lets it rest- all the while, gently applying some aether to activate the mixture. ]

Thank you, darling. It'll be quick... once I get it off and rinse your hair, I'll be able to see how much color I was able to get out of it. If we're lucky, we may not even need to go for the second step to correct its color...

What would the second step be, if it became necessary?

[ Being so relaxed means that his sour mood has dissolved and been replaced with the calm comfort that always seems to arise in Felih's presence. In such a state of mind, curiosity he typically ignores is allowed to surface, prompting the questions. ]

All I know of dyeing is that which is done upon armor.

It would be to attempt dying it back to its natural color, if removing the pink isn't enough to restore it to its usual state. It's tricky, considering your mane was already quite a pallid color, but there are ways to try and cover any lingering pink.

Hopefully it won't come to that, though.

And don't fret, the dye used on hair is much gentler than that used for armor or clothing.

Mm.

So long as it is no longer so noticeable, I will be satisfied.

[ At the moment, it is a little too pink for him. ]

Do any of these techniques have the same effectiveness on body hair?

[ Felih pauses and blinks for a moment, before humming. ]

I don't see why not. The hair all over your body is made of the same material, so it ought to be fine... though, pink is such a pale color that I wonder if it even shows up. Let me see your arms?

[ He dutifully holds up his arm, but-- ]

It is not the hair on my arms that I am concerned about.

[ Because indeed, the hair there is so fine as to be invisible. ]

[ It takes Felih a few moments to understand, but then he feels his cheeks go hot. ]

Ah. I see... well, it should work, though I admit I know not how it might feel against the skin of such a sensitive area. I could always attempt...?

Though I feel that in that case, shaving might just be the quickest solution, especially with how quickly that hair grows back.

[ To be entirely honest...he suspected it would come to that. Attempting to use chemicals on his nethers seems so incredibly ill-advised. And so--

Estinien sighs. ]
