I was planning to go to college back home [before the whole uprooting thing] so it helps me feel like my life didn't get completely thrown off course.

I haven't been out of school for any real length of time since I started... but I guess you must have gotten used to being out of it.

I'm sure you could find some tutors to help you catch up, if you're worried about that.

I'm not too worried, it's barely been a year so I don't think I missed much.

It does seem like something crazy is going on, not including the things with the moons every month.

[She does giggle a little, as if the crazy stuff isn't as crazy as it could be.]

For the most part, he'd agree with the sentiment—the moonblessings in particular aren't so bad compared to some of the things been through, but some of the other things... well, a whole port city getting wiped out isn't the most pleasant distraction.]
