It's interesting. Fairly impractical to do work in. The armor restricts hand movement and the heels are too high to properly fight or work in. Also carrying huge weapons while working is so difficult. It's better to carry a small, concealed weapon. Also the fabric doesn't look very easy to clean...

Why would someone dress in a maid uniform for fun? It is a noble position but I am not sure I understand the appeal of playing pretend as one.

People wear all kinds of things as pretend. Sometimes we just like how they look and other times we pay respect to them that way.

The maids in the maid cafe aren't true maids, but the way they serve their masters/patrons are supposed to share the same dedication for their customers. Neat, right?

Costumes tend to look different than the real thing. I don't think mistakes happen that often.

Hmmm. Maids, both real and cosplayed, come in a variety of forms. But given your grace it should really be obvious that you're the real deal!

One would think. Some do not understand the subtleties or choose to ignore them. I supose I could change my clothes when going out but I have little else to wear. Not to mention it feels strange removing my uniform while still on duty.

I would not know where to begin.What is considered casual? I know what My Lady would approve of but I do not know what articles would be acceptable in the eyes of the public.
