It depends on culture and also species? For humans, sixteen years is a good minimum.

At that point, they've gone through school, so they can get a job and support themselves financially.

i think anyone should be able to have a job if they want one.

There are laws against it so that children don't get pressured or forced into working. It's hard to say no to your family when you're a child.

Say that you're a child, and your parents tell you that you're a burden. It's a horrible thing to say to a child, but some people do it.

[Some people shouldn't be parents, honestly.]

In that case, you could 'want' a job to make up for that perceived burden, even though it's the parents' responsibility to provide for you and not the other way around.

It depends on the situation, but it's always a very sad thing, not to have family.

You can have an adoptive one. Or you can have children and start your own family.

Legally, you have to do a lot of paperwork.

But sometimes you get close to people and they feel like family, even though you aren't related.
