I don't actually know. Everyone always asks about the gods because that's clearly the most interesting thing to talk about. Granted I don't know a lot about my world outside what I've learned from my history lessons.

I haven't experienced a whole lot...

I suppose a good place to start is how does this world differ from your own?

The technology is a lot more advanced here. We don't have apartments that can redecorate themselves with the touch of a button.

Sort of? We have alchemy.

What can alchemy achieve that makes it similar to magic?

Well, for one thing it can transmigrate dead authors like me and give them physical bodies.

I didn't realize this world's magic brought ghosts here.

It does that even for worlds that don't have ways to bring back the dead.

I wouldn't say it's without rules. Moonlacing is necessary for life and we're all stuck here until this place decides we're not. Aside from those two things...

Moonlacing requires consent is a big one, but even that isn't always true when wildlife tries to drain Chroma from us.
