I was told that I’d disappeared for a few months. I cannot say I remember leaving, however, nor do I seem to be able to account for the time I spent away.

[ There’s something more to that second question. Even through text, Ophilia can feel it: a pain that seems like it won’t ever go away. ]

that had to be weird

like waking up one morning and finding out it's months later than u thought?

[ It reminds Mayuzumi of a plot device from a light novel, a time skip. But this is real life not fiction.

There is a bit of a pause when the topic of that missing person that's on Mayuzumi's mind is addressed. ]

[ The problem is Mayuzumi's got personal experience with world hopping, so it's just as possible that guy ended up somewhere else, like the world they were stuck on together before reuniting in Lunatia. And that place wasn't entirely safe... ]

I won’t deny it was rather strange. I feel terrible for having worried my friends so, too, but I’m glad I’m able to put their minds at ease now.

remembring makes it easier to pick up where u left off i suppose

but there are other worlds u can end up on

befor i got here i was sent someplace else along with that guy

some of the people i knew there are here but not all of them remember that world


don't even know if it's really memories disappearing or something even weirder like time travl or different versions from parallel worlds, who knows

mayb the ones i knew then aren't the same ones at all

it was confusing to live it

it was less advanced than here and the world was kind of messed up

the city i lived in was on a big floating island

emotions were a big deal there and kind of generated magic power

u could learn how to use it but u couldnt always control it and sometimes it would leak out and make things happen around u

like make the air cold or flowers grow under ur feet

it was a real hassle if u arent the type to have their heart on their sleeve if u know what i mean

[ A pain in the ass for the kind of guy like him who prefers keeping his true feelings close to his chest instead of flaunting them. Although it ended working out in the romantic arena, but still... ]

it wasnt all bad but this place is more my speed

Really? Had I the choice, I think I’d prefer that place over Lunatia.

[ It’s hard to enjoy a place that’s so… open about everything. Especially not when you value propriety like Ophilia does. ]

But I’m fortunate in that I’ve been able to make a lot of friends in my time here. They make it all worthwhile, monthly

guess our standards are diffrent then

altho i get it

i could do without moonblessing problms too

havng to get touchyfeely all the time or run out of chroma is a real pain

[ Admittedly Cordis seems to be less trouble to deal with than something like Iris, but he finds it really inconvenient. And then there's the pheromones making things awkward... ]

While I won’t infringe on others’ personal boundaries, I don’t much mind that part. Most people here are kind enough that, should I ever need it, they are willing to lend me their hand—in every sense of the word!

I find myself more inconvenienced by the turn of the moons. I live with someone who eats ever such a lot of food, you see, and having to meet that demand can be very taxing.

Do you not have anyone to help you provide for yourself?

yeah i supose people can be like that

i get buggd about that at my job sometimes

and it sounds like me and ur roommate have the same lunar problms

i work at a bar mostly

some of the customrs sure want to be helpful

if u know what i mean

[ Back home it was a lot more rare for people to be able to notice Mayuzumi without him deliberately trying to attract attention, but it seems like some of the Prismal patrons that frequent his workplace are sharper than the average human and can spot him more easily...and also like to hit on him. ]
