Maybe it shouldn't, considering he's still in the midst of his very own isekai adventure so his assumptions about the way his world works have already been thrown into disarray. Since everything that's happened to him has been real despite being so fantastical in nature, maybe his world really is full of all that weird supernatural stuff that he always considered just the stuff of fiction before. ]
