Guess I'm living alone again, so if someone is in dire need of a roommate, I'm screening people, I guess.
On that note: if anybody knew Atsushi - the one that was living with me, the slightly darker, edgier one? He's gone now.
So, I should also ask: does anyone really believe that people who disappear from this place really 'go back home'?

I don't know.
There honestly isn't any proof either way, and the only examples are of people who have gone back and returned. And those examples are not exactly entirely good either: in any of the examples where someone has said that they have returned to their world have they sustained their memories of this one.
I don't want to have a false hope, though. If I do that, it's easy to get disappointed.

anyway, i think there's a difference between definitely believing one way or the other and just keeping both possibilities open. at least you don't get stuck on the worst case scenario.

A lot of people seem to just believe something outright instead of keeping an open mind. Besides, if I got stuck on the worst case scenario, that'd be just as bad as assuming the "best case scenario".
sorry for lateness
no worries!
