On that note: if anybody knew Atsushi - the one that was living with me, the slightly darker, edgier one? He's gone now.

So, I should also ask: does anyone really believe that people who disappear from this place really 'go back home'?

Well... then why don't we do something to keep your mind off things for a little while? We can watch a movie? I found a new really bad one we can make fun of for a few hours.
