[She gave it a few days before she decided to just call it. Well, that and she checked what resources she could so...
Now she's making a network post, she sounds tired or maybe she's bored either way, she's not pleased sounding.]
It seems that this is the time for people to end up leaving this place. If anyone was friends with Karma Akabane-kun, I do believe he is no longer here. This also means that I'm going to have to either find a new roommate or a cheaper place to live.
If anyone is interested I guess reply here or perhaps my inbox? If not I guess I should start looking before the month ends.

Also, she'll text back, it just seems polite.]
You're welcome, I thought it'd be best to make sure anyone he knew would know. Just so no one ends up worrying.

you mentioned you were his roommate right
did he say anything to you before he left?
maybe hes travelling
no subject
Not that I can recall, but with how things were recently I had been keeping to myself as to not be a bother to him.
[The whole dragon heat thing, you know?]
And I've also checked the proper channels and talked to some Moon Knights in case he was missing and well...
[She's sorry but this is the nicest way she can say "he's gone".]

i see
then hes really gone
guess its better that way

He's gone...
I hope he's happy back home.

And I hope he is too.

I wish I talked more to him.

[She almost writes that she wishes she had observed him more but refrains because she knows how weird that would come off as.]
A small regret to have, Ruca-kun.

The starter apartments everyone gets when they arrive are rent-free.

And really? Then perhaps I won't need to move.

First of all, thanks for letting everybody know. Second, my condolences.
[He saw that Noiz already left information about the Moonblessed apartments being rent-free, so he'll skip that topic and get right to what really worries him.]
Can we be completely sure that Karma-kun is gone? I know it's hard to prove, but I just hate the idea that he might be lying in some remote place with a broken leg or what-have you.
[He knows this is an irrational concern, really; after all they all have their communication devices with them at pretty much all times, and those things are very sturdy. Still, he can't help it.]
audio
You're welcome.
[Her tone of voice might be considered a bit odd, as she doesn't really sound upset. More like she's been inconvenienced than anything else.]
I've gone through all the proper channels to be sure, in fact the first day he hadn't arrived at the apartment I went to inform the Moon Knights that he could be missing. I wouldn't have made this post if I was sure he was still here on this planet.
no subject
Sorry. I didn't mean to imply that you jumped to conclusions. I guess I went into denial for a moment.
[Hijikata saw other people announce the disappearance of friends on the network before, but this is the first time it concerns somebody he knows, and it's hard to process that Karma is just gone. He'll miss him as a sparring partner and a good companion, and he'll always remember how Karma prevented him from hurting or killing civilians during the debacle with King Majestas.]
...
[He can't know for sure, and Asakura's voice doesn't let it on, but it stands to reason that she was close friends with Karma - otherwise they probably wouldn't have remained roommates -, so he can imagine that his disappearance is hitting her even harder. He's not very good at consoling people, and maybe she doesn't even want to hear it, but he at least wants to try.]
Not to talk your ear off, but the last time I saw him he told me about his classmates and teacher back home and what they all accomplished together. I'm sure he told you more about his home world than me, but if nothing else I think we can be happy to know that he's going back to a place where he's welcome.
no subject
It's fine. And yes everyone who has replied seems to agree that it's best that he's gone home, and he told me enough about his world.
[Honestly she didn't really pry, so her knowledge is basic at best.]
But yes, a place he is welcomed and safe is best.
no subject
I'm with the Moon Knights, so if you need anything just get in touch with me or someone else at the HQ again. We'll sort you out.
[He almost wants to add that Karma might return for all they know, but since there's no telling there's no point in throwing the possibility out there. They all know that it's out of their control.]
