The recent times have been trying; even without the added changes and trials that the past month has brought upon us, the burden of being brought to a world not your own – with expectations and additional changes put upon you that were both unasked for and unbidden – may be proving difficult, regardless of one's resilience or constitution. There is not shame in such things.
I understand that faith may be a comfort to some who are used to taking solace in it. My name is Abraham Gray; I am a Catholic priest in the service of our Lord, and as such I'm more than willing to offer rites and guidance to those who would seek such things. I'm also willing to answer questions regarding my own personal faith, should such questions arise.
Whether you feel such services to be something you require or not, I pray that you find peace and solace, and strength for the days to come.

[... Is Gray trying to put a murder basement in his new church, is that why it's unfinished.]
no subject
I haven't added anything extensive to it, if that's what you're asking me.
no subject
Alright, I was curious.
[Not like he was hoping there would be one or anything.]
no subject
Would you prefer it if I had?
[How bored are you, Danny.]
no subject
... But we are on a public network and probably shouldn't mention that.]
I don't know. I guess I was used to it being a certain way before, so it's strange for it not to be that way now.
no subject
I understand. It's been rather trying here, with nothing to replace our former work.
Things being what they are here, however...regardless of what we choose to do, there will be difficulties involved.

[Fucking Jyuto not staying fucking dead when we killed him and all...]
no subject
[Is he suggesting another date, is he suggesting killing a drifter, who knows. Conversely, why not both.]
no subject
Oh? In that case consider this me officially telling you that I am seeking something to do.
no subject
Meet with me. We can continue off the network.

[...In case conversation gets stabby.]
--> action
I'll be there in about 10 minutes.
[And sure enough, ten minutes on the dot, Gray will hear knocking at his apartment door.]
no subject
Anyway, he's willing to let Danny in easily and without much delay in the knock and it being answered; the apartment is dimly-lit, likely in a way that's familiar given the basement - that same sort of low ambient lighting and...too many candles, honestly, that Gray tends to like associating himself with, even now.]
On time as always.
no subject
[Danny is nothing if not punctual. When Danny steps inside, he doesn't wander very far, stopping to take a look at this dimly-lit with candles aesthetic happening here.]
... I see your taste in home decor hasn't changed very much.
[Like what the fuck else do you say in response to this, really.]
no subject
[Like, he's got to keep some things consistent, Horny Furry Hell be damned.]
no subject
[At least its not circus goth like Grimm's place is, or else he would be wondering where you both keep buying your stuff from.]
Though, anyone else might think that you were suspicious with this kind if dimly lit set up if you're not careful.
[... even if being suspicious of gray is honestly an appropriate response to have actually... or maybe they would think a Good Time is gonna happen if they are the candlelit romantic type, but Danny probably shouldn't point that out.]
no subject
[It's pretty much just you, Danny.]
It seems as though you've been restless, from what you were telling me.
no subject
[Well then, now we almost feel bad for the slightly rude remark we made about it. But only almost, because the fact that he's the only who gets invited over like this means he's special, and he likes that feeling.
But right, back to the reason why he is even here in the first place.]
Yes... I've kept up with work in regards to the clinic here, and there are people I do spend time with occasionally, but... it doesn't feel like I'm actually doing enough here. Or anything that's particularly inspiring to me to do.
[... IE, murder some poor fucker for their eyes. He's been rather good not doing that since at least February, but it still leaves an itch under his skin, that he's not really "Daniel Dickens" without the murder. Or maybe it's just another mask that he's had to make here: a version of himself that not only doesn't commit horrible crimes, but tries to conform or otherwise be forced along to the whims of furry hell world in certain ways.]
no subject
[Sometimes you just really miss murder.]
Running another experiment here is likely out of the question, given the difficulties it entails. At least on the former scale. But that doesn't mean that I haven't considered the possibility, regardless.
no subject
[Despite himself, despite knowing that he should exercise better judgement... Danny is curious.]
Got any ideas you want to offer here?
[It's totally normal and fine for two people to discuss how they want to murder someone here somehow.]
no subject
Admittedly, such a thing requires either a volunteer, or someone who particularly deserves such a thing.
[So someone we can torture for months, or someone we just really, really want to torture for months.]
no subject
The person I told you about having killed... when they died, there was a crystal of some kind that had formed around their body, and it stayed there until they seemed to regain life again and the crystal went away. I didn't try breaking the crystal to see if that did anything, but I did watch as much as I could to see the moment they came back. As far as I could tell, they didn't seem to be moving afterwards as if there was an impairment to the places that had previously been damaged.
[Though... Danny doesn't know yet that there was actually an unseen side effect, in that it apparently messes with ones emotional state and makes even moonlacing hard to feel anything emotional during sometimes, but hey... it's fine. This is fine.]
no subject
[Which doesn't mean that there isn't anything, simply that it may be more difficult to detect.]
How long did it take, through curiosity? The entire process.
no subject
[
... Due to the mods changing the death mechanic sometime after this so now it's supposed to be like two weeks long for a person to stay dead or so? So yeah Jyuto got lucky that he could come back sooner.]
