All I want to know is who is here, I'm looking for some very specific people from home. I know they're here, but I can't tell where. If the people in question have divulged this information on the network under a name you provide, then yes.
I can't say that I trust your intentions, but if they are careless enough to do something so dangerous then that is an invitation in itself.

Generally speaking, the likelihood would be somewhere within the level 2 district.
Which narrows down the scope tremendously, but isn't much of a pinpoint to speak of.

Well, I didn't think it necessary to scour the archives for any sort of answers until recently so forgive my relative ignorance!

You see, I left my home world quite on purpose, hoping to jump to a universe relatively parallel to my own. However, I seemed to have miscalculated my trajectory and ended up here.

I'm curious to know if anyone else here is a dimension hopper like myself. It may give me a clue as to just how far from home I am, relatively speaking.

It's fine. Free time is hardly a luxury as of late and being productive is a means to an end.
That assumption is correct.

People who travel between worlds, planets, or timelines are present.
People who have died and arrived here are not uncommon, but that would depend on your definition of dimension hopping.
Most of which reference being 'taken' or 'kidnapped', others haven't seemed to have made a public comment regarding the matter.
The information that has been made accessible is the only information available to me, unfortunately, so anything discussed in private is out of my reach.

Well, I wouldn't say it was willingly. If I'd had a choice in the matter, this likely would have been lower on my list of preferred worlds. This whole Chroma and Moonlacing business is very inconvenient, for one thing. It's nothing like my home world, for another. Relatively speaking, I don't believe I'm even adjacent to my own world any longer.

And at this point, I don't think I can leave - not on my own.

Not that I'd want to. I'm already quite lost, I fear trying to hop again would result in me wandering even further from home.

Would you say that your ability was intercepted? Or does it operate on a game of chance?
From the reactions of the other Moonblessed I think it is safe to say that this world is nothing like any of ours.
Confusion and surprise seem to be the majority.

That is not unheard of. Many with similar abilities find them jamming or not working altogether.
There have been cases where people have left. I can't say for certain if all of them returned to where they came from, but some have left and then reappeared here stating that they did go 'home'.
It would be best to exercise patience/

I don't think that it is reasonable to blame yourself for the circumstances.
Everyone is clearly out of their element and it wouldn't be realistic to assume that our abductions were due to personal negligence.

I'm not sure if it is any reassurance for me to say, but that is not out of the ordinary either.
It does make me wonder if one could regain the full extent of their powers with enough Chroma.

I admit I worry about how this Chroma situation is affecting my abilities. Perhaps if I could spare the Chroma to access those abilities without restriction, I could get my distress signal to permeate the barriers between worlds more easily.

But unfortunately I don't. As it is, I worry the toll my current attempts have taken.

this place is linear in the way i can jump back and forth ive been chromaed up enough to be able to do some fuckin crazy shit with time and it still doesnt affect it

[ Riou doesn't know how much new information this is, but he thinks to share it. It's a conversation he's had with someone else anonymously that lead to some interesting sharing of theories. At minimum, it may be interesting. ]

Here is the intel I've gathered in regards to the Moonblessed experience and timelines:
-A man with experience with timeline manipulation has indicated that it is possible that the same universe exists in different timelines, with deviations based on choices. He also indicated that timeline manipulation is extremely dangerous.
-Moonblessed who have disappeared from Prismatica fall into one of three categories:
1. Do not return, nor appear missing in other Moonblessed memories as missing if the second Moonblessed returned and proceeded with their timeline.
2. Return with memories of Prismatica but have no memories of being missing from either Prismatica or their original world.
3. Others return without memories of Prismatica at all, and only from their original timeline until point of abduction.
-Death does not appear to be a factor in this process, as death leads to regeneration in this world upon regeneration of chroma.

A friend and I theorize that this may mean each of us is taken from a parallel version of our universe. We do not have the means to prove this, but it seems less likely than massive memory erasure by what is alleged to be an accidental process to bring us here.

Unrelated to that, I have been borrowing a Moon Knight's handcuffs to attempt to learn how to get out of this world's restraints for cases of emergencies. Regular lock-picking techniques are not applicable as it requires the use of magic. Base-level Moonblessed elemental magic do not solve the problem. I am going to try advanced Moonblessed magic next time he allows me to borrow them now that I have enhanced them at the Ware Wolf Shop.

The time and effort you seem to have put into this summary is appreciated.
Some of this information is new, and some has been framed in a way that I hadn't considered.
Parallel worlds and magic are hardly a staple from where I lived so such theories aren't forefront in my mind.

I think that your efforts are related.
If you can learn how to counter the technology, fantastical or not, that is employed in the Moon Knight's restraints, then it would not be out of the ordinary to assume that there would be practical uses to apply elsewhere.
A similar system should be used for a great many other things; if not built upon the same foundation.
I encourage you to do your best.

The majority of what occurs here is not a staple of my world. I've learned to expand my interpretation of what is reasonable.

Given the increased propensity moonblessed experience for kidnapping by cults and other bad-actors on this planet, even the base skill may become useful in the future. There are certain other tasks that I would like to become capable of once I am able to advance in the use of magic in technology, but it is best left confidential for now.

That is a very reasonable mindset to have. I fear that it may take a while to adjust in my case.

I know that locking messages is an option but I highly doubt that our messages are encrypted to those... 'In charge', for lack of a better term.

I think it would be naive to assume a government would not attempt to surveil individuals from another planet regardless of our benefit to the environment, as much as it would be naive not to if you were in charge of this planet's security.

I don't think many people are aware that the exalted moonblessings give some... extra abilities that aren't terribly obvious at first. Unfortunately I can only speak for Sanguis myself in that regard, though.

Could you elaborate?

Apparently if you sing or even hum when under the influence of Sanguis, those within close range to you may experience some uh... heightened excitement. And I don't mean of the "yay good things" variety.

Doesn't seem to have the same effect with playing instruments.
