[ no preamble, just right to the chase: ]

How many of you are non-human?

And of you non-humans, how many of you are robotic in some way?

And for those who are derived from robotics, how did that Chroma stuff generating affect your systems the first time you experienced it?

I've not experienced an energy like this before and data is hard to come by unless you're some type of human. They all seem to suggest it's some kind of energy powered by "love and friendship" or "the ancient gods from the moon" some other inane bullcrap.
[ he... may have stopped listening when the answer wasn't one he could grasp... ] I don't buy that. I wanna know what vehicle it operates through and how both humans and inorganics can experience it.

It should also go without saying that humans shouldn't bother replying. Your input is useless to me.

I'm not human.

And while I don't know much about robotics specifically Chroma seems to operate somewhat similarly to an element that exists where I'm from.

There are many here who are not limited by humanity. I am, of course, one such individual. Your frustration with the foolishness of this world is understandable. However, I am afraid you have not been mislead about the nature of this world's power source.

I am not human. But I can't say I know a damn thing about robots. The chroma seems similar to a sort of spectral energy called youki, or reiki as the humans call their own spirit power, that youkai like myself possess where I'm from. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like chroma can be weaponized — so that's boring. I'm none too impressed, frankly. It's just money with extra perks — or extra obstacles, however you see it.

Even if you're an ass and I'm human, it's worth letting you know that you can get that energy by touch in general. Including sparring and fighting.

I mostly do the latter and I'm fine.

Savra. Where I'm from there aren't humans in general that I've heard of.

There's a mineral called Originium that's used as an energy source and as a catalyst for abilities called Arts, mostly in weapons. The way I've seen Chroma work seems pretty similar to how Arts can be used and manipulated. Originium also forms in crystals like the ones around here but I haven't been able to figure out if they're using the crystals here in of any of the technology.

They use those crystals around here for some things but I'm not sure if they're actually a source of Chroma or just something else made from it. I don't buy into the "love and friendship" thing either but it's fairly obvious that the user's willpower definitely seems to play a part in manipulating Chroma, which would explain why anyone can use it regardless of how organic they are.

As for how we can all suddenly use it without being from here my guess would be that getting exposed to it after arriving altered something in us. Whether it's just airborne or something like radiation or anything else isn't my field of expertise.

Not at all. I just wanted to drop some information that most don't seem to be aware of.
You didn't seem to be aware of it, either, so I figured it would be helpful.

Might surprise you, but all humans aren't the same.
If you don't want to talk to me? I'm out. Said what I felt you might need to know and that's that.

Nah, it's just shitty to be stuck doing something you may not want to do.

Yeah? Nothing like that's familiar to me, not where I come from.
But I've been treated like a tool and not had control of my own body. I can't say I was a fan, so I don't blame you for feeling that way.

eh ghosts are marginally relevant but yeah they’re around. I mean youkai. Demons. Apparitions. Humans call us all sorts of things. But no, not ghosts; I’m very much alive and have been for quite some time, at least by human standards, ha.

Things like environmental and physical manipulation through will are pretty common where I'm from.

That occurred to me too. The mineral I mentioned before from my world is useful as a power source but it's also highly toxic so I wouldn't be too surprised if the case is similar here.

I am not human. Not robotic in any way either. Chroma is energy generated from any mutually consenting physical contact with another being not of this world.

I am a vampire.

As for what generates it, I could not venture to say. I find your choice of words curious, though. Do you, somehow, simply not believe magic capable of such things? Much like I lack humanity's limitations, sorcery lacks the limitations of technology.

Youkai. It's different in Japan. Don't imagine some hellish little satanic goblin — I'm much more handsome than that.
