[ Hello everyone, it's Riou sitting at a table surrounded by plants in his greenhouse that he worked on last month. It's relatively together, there's a wood table and bench with what looks like a hand-crafted outdoor bar behind it, as well as a lot of plants and a dirt and stone path leading into the plants. There are red cups at the edge of the table and a gun in front of him. ]

I was told this is a popular thing for people to do.

[ And so, Riou embarks on performing his own rendition of Cups.

When he finishes, he sets the gun down with the safety off. ]

Oh, that sure is a throwback... I haven't seen someone do Cups in quite some time.

Although most people don't usually do it with a gun.

In Yokohama, I grew everything from coffee to vegetables. As a survivor, I made certain I was largely self-sufficient.

I didn't have a greenhouse, though. This will be my first time managing one.

It's a free-standing greenhouse. There is no one else here right now or I wouldn't be using weapons. It's very loud.

It's not advisable. There is no one else here right now. Low visibility due to the foliage is bad for those not used to it. I would rather avoid accidents.

It took a long time to save up for it, but I was able to finally bring in plants last month.
If I am able to make them thrive, it will be like a small jungle.

Wow! That's really impressive, Riou! I don't think I've ever seen anyone do anything like that before with a gun of all things.

[ He knows Riou is in the military, or was, so he kinda expected him to be pretty good at wielding a gun. But even so...that was really cool. ]

What kinds of plants do you have? Do you have any for cooking by any chance?

I focused on gathering samples similar to jungle species from my earth. They're what I'm used to caring for. With development, it will grow to be a miniature jungle.

I have a number of edible plants, but not many are ready to eat right now. It is the end of pineapple season, but the coffee tree should flower soon. The acai are too young to bloom, and I wasn't able to find passionfruit. There are root vegetables and herbs, but most are not ready to eat yet.

There are also many insects. Make sure you don't eat anything that's furry, bright, or pungent. I would not recommend any of the mushrooms.

That's awfully impressive, Riou-san. You must be quite good with firearms to not even flinch or miss a beat.

But at the risk of sounding overbearing, does your greenhouse double as a shooting range? If not, it may be best to notify your neighbors before someone reports the sound of gunshots.

It does not. The moon knights have already been notified and I will be putting a sign at the entrance to avoid confusion.
