[The video opens on two figures standing outside a circus tent. Grimm is hard to mistake for anyone else, and it should be no surprise to those who know him to see Mike Morton at a circus.]

Greetings to you all, my fellow Moonblessed. We are pleased to announce the opening of the Lacewing Circus as a permanent attraction in Lower Lunatia. We hope that all who have an interest will come to one of our performances, occurring every Saturday and Sunday at five PM.

Ever wanted to see someone defy gravity? Well now you can! Swing on by for acrobatics, trapeze acts, and tightrope walking galore! It’s a scene you wouldn’t want to miss— guaranteed! But don’t just take my word for it. Come see with your own eyes! Just don’t let this momentous occasion pass you by.

[Mike pops up out of the parting bow fast and points at the camera. One last thing:]

…But wait! That’s not all. We’re also taking your applications! So? Don’t be shy. Show us what you’ve got.

[his joy is infectious, and she laughs right along with him. he's got such a charming presence, and one she can hardly look away from. but she supposes that makes him perfect for a show like this; the audience is going to adore him, she's certain of it.

smoothing out her skirt, milly stands up straight at the mention of questions, an eyebrow cocked. of course he would be curious about her. she took the job without even knowing his name, after all. she'd be suspicious of a person like that too. but first—] Oh! Please, call me Milly. Miss Ashford is- [blegh. and she sticks out her tongue just a little to get the point across.] But fire away! I'll answer anything you ask! [that's a dangerous game to play, but they're both professionals, right?]

[Oh, how endearingly candid. Her blep gets a light chuckle out of him.]

Alright, then that's that! Miss Milly it is! In that case you should call me Mike.

[Mike squares out his shoulders, arms akimbo. In a way mirroring the way she has straightened up by looking about as imposing as he is capable of... Just so he can throw this curve ball—]

[she nods with a grin, then gives him a little salute.] Mike, got it! I can't believe I'm on a first name basis with my boss already.

[he does look like the boss for a moment, but his question is easy, and she gives him a thumbs up.] Well, try this on for size! [she walks away from him, adding space between them until she's a decent amount away. and with a deep breath—] Come one, come all, to the LACEWING CIRCUS! See your dreams take form, and your fantasies take flight! [she's. pretty loud... sounds like she's had loads of practice speaking before crowds before. she jogs back over to him, giving him a little bow.] So, did I pass my first test?

[Oh no, she seems so cheery. It's adorable. Good thing that Grimm is the Big Boss(TM) around here. Because Mike gets the urge to put business on hold to just shoot the shit with Milly instead and being so distractable is no way to run a circus.

Even before she makes it back to where Mike is standing he's emphatically clapping for her!]

Marvelous! I heard you loud and clear. So you pass with flying colors I say! Now let's test how long you can stay on your feet for by-

[He taps his chin. Clearly thinking on the spot. Mike offers up his arm ye olde escort style if she wants to take it.]

[wow, at least someone appreciates her talents. mike might snatch her job from her though... he's the perfect hype man! and that's exactly the sort of energy she needs in her life— loud and supportive!

there's a giggle from her as she takes his arm, fanning at her face playfully, pretending like she's about to swoon, but she keeps on her feet, grinning in mike's direction with eyes brimming with curiosity.]

I'm sure I can keep up with you. Oh, I can't wait to see a real circus from the ground! Lead the way!
