HELLO EVERYONE!!!
i have failed to introduce myself properly to the masses and i must say this is VERY SHAMEFUL OF ME (⁄ ⁄>⁄ ▽ ⁄<⁄ ⁄) my name is suoh tamaki and it's a pleasure to acquaint myself with whoever is here to read this.
to cut to the chase, i have taken quite an economic downgrade being here, and this is certainly a cultural shift for me...and the setting is a sci-fi one, to boot! i would like to take advantage of the situation to the best of my ability and go about making a fun list of ❤ FUN ACTIVITIES OF THE COMMON FOLK ❤ i'd like to partake in.
common things i would like to do while here:
▶ wait in an impossibly long line
▶ become gainfully employed (though nothing too grueling or isolated, thank you)
▶ try out various versions of the classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich
▶ play a recorder
▶ take some form of public transit
if you can help me in any of these endeavors i would be MUCH OBLIGED or if perhaps you would like to make one of these a group activity...the more the merrier!! ( ˘⌣˘)♡(˘⌣˘ )
AS AN ASIDE: i have decided i will be committing myself to a food sampling project involving common tea drinks. here is a little sample of one:
i will be posting these reviews somewhat regularly if you are interested! ♡( ◡‿◡ ) au revoir !

MANGO DRINK: perhaps the worst thing i have tasted in a long time. i was under the impression this was a tea drink. it is not tea.
PROS: the colour is nice, but not one i would consumer on the regular. there is certainly a sweetness to it, but my teeth felt awful after consumption.
CONS: everything else. to the common folk reading this, this is not what a mango tastes like <( ̄ ﹌ ̄)> once i receive regular funds, i will buy mangos for you to try if you have never. i am TRULY SADDENED that a company has tricked you into believing this is a similar taste in any regard.
i will be posting these reviews somewhat regularly if you are interested! ♡( ◡‿◡ ) au revoir !

HIKARU (*^ω^)人(^ω^*)
the only way it shall be removed is when i am done sampling all of it. and i have a feeling my food correspondence shall be a big hit!!!
unless this is your bashful way of saying you would like to go on this flavorful adventure with me (b ᵔ▽ᵔ)b

[He went through the effort of doing that but actually, it was kind of fun? And he's smiling for the first time in a while at least.]

You cannot simply tell me you aren't curious to find out what every fruit must taste like to the common drink manufacturer...and at once?
no subject
[He's pointing to the pear on the can, really confused.
And okay, maybe he is a little curious. A little.]

❰ says the person who bought a six pack of it. ❱

Finally, he stares at Tamaki.]
So you want to just drink it and I don't know, blog about it? Boring. [He makes a show of sighing, leaning his head on his hand, looking away.
Until an idea hits him and he turns back, smiling.] You should do it live, Tono. Anybody can write about an experience but imagine if it was video? Straight from the kitchen? It could be like a show. Like a talk show! Don't commoners love talk shows?
no subject
woah. woah. woah. hold up. his eyes are opened to a whole new world. ❱
Hikaru. I must say I don't praise your unadulterated genius at times. The average housewife especially will watch a talk show during the day while her husband is at work and her children are off at school. And about food of all things...that's a market we can corner easily.
❰ you can tell how invested he's getting in this idea by the sheer energy radiating off of him, eyes twitching while his mind is racing with plans. ❱ Of course, this would be a show for everyone, not just the morning, at-home crowd. But the food itself can take care of that...who doesn't eat? A personable enough atmosphere will capture anyone's attention.
❰ finally, there's movement, jutting a finger out in hikaru's direction with absolute certainty and vigor. ❱
Clear your schedule, Hikaru. We can have a filming area set up in the kitchen by evening if we don't dilly dally.
no subject
He stands up and salutes.] Yes, Tono! But one question: how are we getting the filming set? It has to stand out and look nice. You can't just have an average set! [Even Hikaru's sense of aesthetics kills him to imagine that idea.] How much Chroma do you have? [Hikaru isn't using his (very small amount) to help. That's for snacks.
But this could also open up plans for Tamaki to think up how to make money and that could be a whole lot of fun.]
no subject
and this must be rectified. with a quick step, he takes hold of both of hikaru's hands in his own, gaze fierce and absolutely serious. ❱
If we hold our hands just like this for 72 hours straight, and perhaps then some, we should be able to obtain at least some modest film equipment.
no subject
And then back to Tamaki.
And then promptly pulls his hands away and sits down.] No way.
[72 hours of holding hands with Tamaki sounds like actual Hell.]
