HELLO EVERYONE!!!

i have failed to introduce myself properly to the masses and i must say this is VERY SHAMEFUL OF ME (⁄ ⁄>⁄ ▽ ⁄<⁄ ⁄) my name is suoh tamaki and it's a pleasure to acquaint myself with whoever is here to read this.

to cut to the chase, i have taken quite an economic downgrade being here, and this is certainly a cultural shift for me...and the setting is a sci-fi one, to boot! i would like to take advantage of the situation to the best of my ability and go about making a fun list of ❤ FUN ACTIVITIES OF THE COMMON FOLK ❤ i'd like to partake in.

common things i would like to do while here:

▶ wait in an impossibly long line
▶ become gainfully employed (though nothing too grueling or isolated, thank you)
▶ try out various versions of the classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich
▶ play a recorder
▶ take some form of public transit

if you can help me in any of these endeavors i would be MUCH OBLIGED or if perhaps you would like to make one of these a group activity...the more the merrier!! ( ˘⌣˘)♡(˘⌣˘ )

AS AN ASIDE: i have decided i will be committing myself to a food sampling project involving common tea drinks. here is a little sample of one:

MANGO DRINK: perhaps the worst thing i have tasted in a long time. i was under the impression this was a tea drink. it is not tea.

PROS: the colour is nice, but not one i would consumer on the regular. there is certainly a sweetness to it, but my teeth felt awful after consumption.

CONS: everything else. to the common folk reading this, this is not what a mango tastes like <(￣ ﹌ ￣)> once i receive regular funds, i will buy mangos for you to try if you have never. i am TRULY SADDENED that a company has tricked you into believing this is a similar taste in any regard.

You know, perhaps it is bold of me to suggest it, but might it be worth reconsidering your perspective? That is, of course, you were not wrong to expect that a "mango" drink would taste like a mango, nor were you wrong to find its actual flavor unpleasant. However, does it truly follow that the drink itself is wrong, or that those who like it are benighted? In this world, there are countless flavors... some reminiscent of one another, some totally distinct, some that no doubt still wait to be discovered. To be honest, I think it is a little bit wonderful that someone could start from an inspiration like "mango" and create something so wildly original. That is the miracle of human innovation!

Anyway, I like the ones I have tried. "Grape drink" is marvelous (and marvelously purple).

hmmm actually you have quite a sound argument. it's definitely forgiving!! but there is something to say about the innovative drive of the everyman.

while this drink may not be pleasing to me, some other people like this original flavor!!

i saw the grape on briefly and while i also don't have much hope for the taste, i will say the deep colour of it is very impressive.

I understand! Please keep me abreast of developments on this front.

Be forewarned that it does not taste even slightly like any grapes I have eaten. In fact I think "purple" may be the best description I can think of for both its color and flavor?

It is also very effervescent, which was a new texture for me, though I am now capable of drinking all kinds of fizzy beverages.

hmmm this is actually quite abstract. i have never once thought about the flavor of a colour in that sense. i'll be intrigued to find out what exactly that flavor is.

and does this mean this mango drink...perhaps that is how the colour orange tastes?

I wonder.
Because there is "orange drink" as well...
Between that and mango drink, which truly tastes more orange? And that is before we even bring orange juice into the equation.

this does imply the existence of a sliding scale of colour!

and if the grape drink tastes of purple, is there perhaps a drink that is truly more purple in flavor than it is?? Σ(O_O) does this exist for all the colours?
