I have a question for you all.

[Good morning/afternoon/etc Lunatia! If you're tuning into the network this fine day, you'll be greeted by the (gorgeous and perfectly made-up, of course) visage of one Constance von Nuvelle, seated neatly in front of the camera and framed by purple roses. She's clearly gone to some effort to make her message attractive (not that much effort needs to be expended in that regard, but you know!), and her tone is tinged with...well, the usual haughtiness. Listen well!]

What's a skill you've learned here in Lunatia that you wouldn't have had access to, back home? I'm always seeking to better myself - as arduous as it is to try and improve upon perfection! - so I'm open to suggestions. I'm already innately talented in magic, battle and horse-riding, so please don't bother proposing that I join the Moon Knights. Other than that, however, I find myself enthused by the thought of hearing what you've managed to achieve!

I'm also quite interested in speaking with someone who has a good deal of experience in rearing roses. Do get in touch if you fit the bill, won't you?

How kind of you to say! I must admit, I'm rather fond of my new style. It's been quite a while since I've had it short, really. Five years, almost! Some days I miss it. Longer hair certainly requires more upkeep, but I'm far too fond to cut it back.

[She's tempted to be a bit more of a tease, but...no, Serge is far too sweet to tease. She'll come clean!]

Your eyes don't deceive you, by the way. I've aged, I know! Whoever it is that runs this place decided to send me home for a bit. What do you think?

Computers, microwaves, toasters, cameras... none of these implements exist in my world. You can consider that as an area of improvement if you are not already familiar with them.

None of your aforementioned devices exist in my world, either. It almost makes me glad we don't remember our time here when we leave, as I know I would miss them dreadfully. The dishwasher especially.

There is much to be said about their convenience, though some things are often better done by hand, considering how many of them have bugs and glitches.

[ The Prismal researchers are just terrible at properly testing their new tech. Either that or they keep using them as test subjects without notifying them which is ...probably unethical. ]

As for favorites, I am amenable to the- [ He almost says toilet, but he has too much dignity to admit that. His brow twitches a little as he corrects himself. ] -the refrigerator. It does extend the life of food objects considerably.

The 'fridge', as they call it, is certainly excellent. A fine choice! Honestly, if I didn't have other things to do, I could spend all day in my apartment's kitchen. So many delightful appliances, so little time!

[This is just making her want to go to the department store and pick up some other fun toy to put on her counter...maybe that popcorn maker she'd been eyeing, or the ice-cream machine...

There's certainly something to be said for this modern city, although I do miss home from time to time. I take it you're from a similar world to mine, then, if we have a fascination with technology in common?

I think I've mostly been polishing the things I already knew, funnily enough. I'm getting a little better at hand-to-hand combat, improving my customer service at work, and getting a lot more chances to play an instrument.

I know a little about botany, too...what were you wanting to know?

I see! Nothing wrong with building upon the foundations, I must say. That's actually why I'm asking about the roses - I want to build a magnificent garden of them in my grounds, when I return home! So why not get some practice in?

Are you only looking to grow roses, or all sorts of flowers? They're not too much harder than any other flower or herb.

Just the roses for now. As far as I'm concerned, I might as well focus on my favourites.

That would be most lovely! I've dabbled, but I wouldn't consider myself a fantastic gardener. I'm a frightfully quick study, though, so you won't need to spend too much time.

Oh, I don't mind spending time and all. Gardening isn't too hard to pick up, especially if you already have an idea of what you want to grow.

Is there a reason for the roses, or do you just want a pretty garden?

My childhood home had a magnificent rose garden, and I would simply love to see it reborn. I have high aspirations, so I must learn how best to encourage their growth!

Ah....are you referring to the front-facing camera, and the photos you can take it with? I'm quite fond of them myself.

I am! Although, originally, I thought "selfie" referred to any image captured by the devices. Then, for a while, I thought it referred to any image containing one or more people... but now I know the truth.

By the way, I have found that using magic improves my "selfie game" still further. Have you tried that yet?
