(Video; UN: motherofdragons)
(A familiar face, perhaps? Drogon is bigger than he was before, much too big to perch on her shoulder and his expressions are easier to see. Can a Dragon be worried? He certainly looks it, his low growls rumbling, unsure, at his mother's side.)
I feel like I saw this place in a dream. (The sensation of rain pouring down, blurring the lines of the buildings and washing the ash from her clothes forces her to breathe.) Is this what awaits everyone? Are these the Night Lands?
(She glances at Drogon, his eyes flaring fire bright.)
I must be alive. Unless you have learned how to fly far indeed! (Bending down, breaking herself out of her frozen state, she caresses her boy's scaly cheek.)
Does anyone recognize us?

[ Their first meeting was pretty saucy, but they've talked regularly a few times after that. Prisma was a big place though, so Konoka hadn't even realized she was a person who left and came back. ]
I recognize you at least! Are you okay?
no subject
I don't know.
no subject
Especially her soft drawl in her voice. ]
I'm sorry to hear that. Take it easy, and stay some place high and dry. The storms aren't pleasant right now.
no subject
No, we're drenched and he doesn't like it. (Which is why she is guiding him to shelter in their new apartment building. Drogon gives a little shake and stretches his wings.)
Are these storms normal?
no subject
I've been dealing with a lot of stuff myself.
no subject
Such as? (She feels like listening to this woman, empathizing with her.) I have plenty of time to listen.
no subject
I've had to put a lot of effort in protecting my store. And I've realized I've done someone wrong, but not quite sure how. But then I've also been compiling all the weird stuff that's been going on around here? I have a whole document on it and everything!
no subject
I would like to read that document. Would you mind if I did?
no subject
[ Konoka sends her a text containing a link to said document in question. ]
I hope this helps!
no subject
Is there anything I can do for you?
no subject
[ Konoka's voice is cheerful but firm. ]
Stay dry and stay safe.
[ She softens up a bit. ]
But I don't mind chatting some.
no subject
I -
I feel like I've lost everything.
no subject
What?
[ The last word is a little quiet, partially from incredulity in how the subject shifted, and partially because she felt a little too rude. She replayed what Daenerys said in her head, and it was only then that it clicked. ]
Oh no... what happened?
no subject
I lost two of my sons, so many friends, the loyalty of those who swore oaths to me and...
My life.
no subject
Eventually, took a deep breath, and in the most soothing voice she could manage, said, ]
I'm sorry.
But it's alright. It's all over now. You're here.
no subject
Is that better or worse?
no subject
[ Konoka looked thoughtful for a moment. ]
...and that's a fresh start. Not many chances to start over again.
no subject
Of all the people in Westeros, why would I be given a second chance?
What do the gods want me to learn?
no subject
Can't speak for the gods, I'm afraid. I'm just an ordinary girl who happens to have some magic. I'm just speaking for me, here. Not knowing what you did at home, what mistakes you made, the only thing I know is what you can do here. Relax, atone... all of that is up to you.
no subject
I will build a life for myself; a life that will be good for my son. I will put him first.
no subject
[ Konoka adds cheerfully. A moment passes before something occurs to her. ]
Who's your son?
no subject

[ She knows what Daenerys means, and as such, is content to leave it there. ]
Hang in there, okay? Give me a call if you need anything!
