(Video; UN: motherofdragons)
(A familiar face, perhaps? Drogon is bigger than he was before, much too big to perch on her shoulder and his expressions are easier to see. Can a Dragon be worried? He certainly looks it, his low growls rumbling, unsure, at his mother's side.)
I feel like I saw this place in a dream. (The sensation of rain pouring down, blurring the lines of the buildings and washing the ash from her clothes forces her to breathe.) Is this what awaits everyone? Are these the Night Lands?
(She glances at Drogon, his eyes flaring fire bright.)
I must be alive. Unless you have learned how to fly far indeed! (Bending down, breaking herself out of her frozen state, she caresses her boy's scaly cheek.)
Does anyone recognize us?

In this storm? I don't wish to put you in danger.

[After all, she doesn't know how long it will be before Daenerys can go out to get something to eat, and the weather certainly wouldn't be safe for a dragon Drogon's size to fly around in.]

Action
She doesn't know exactly how long it will last Daenerys and Drogon, but it should be a few days' worth at least, and possibly enough for a week. It's easier to estimate the appetite of an adult human woman than it is to estimate the appetite of a growing dragon.]
This is the first time I've ever bothered to lock my window when leaving my apartment.
[Normally she would just leave via the window, but today? Nope, not interested in returning to a flooded apartment.]
I wonder if the weather is this bad in Amegahara.
Action
You've brought so much! (She breathes, grateful as she takes the bags and goes about sorting the food. Some of the meat is given directly to Drogon, who devours the pieces uncooked. He must have been hungry!)
Where is Amegahara? (Daenerys glances up at the other woman curiously.) And please, make yourself comfortable. I wish I could give you a change of clothes.
Action
[Kagura hesitates for only a moment before stripping down and grabbing a couple of towels. While her body is quite human looking and there's nothing that Daenerys wouldn't have seen before for the most part, there is the large spider shaped mark that covers the majority of Kagura's back. She wraps one towel around her body, and drapes the other over her shoulders before pulling her hair out of its bun and letting it tumble down to its full wavy waist-length.]
Amegahara is an oasis out in the wastelands. It's safer to travel there now than it was at first.
Action
Why a spider?) I may have to see it for myself.
(And since there is no point in pretending she didn't see, she asks:)
Why are you marked with a spider?
Action
[And at that question, her posture visibly stiffens. She isn't sure of exactly how much Daenerys remembers of their past conversations.]
Ah...it's a bit complicated. Do you remember what I told you about my enemy?
Action
Daenerys leans against the counter and dries her hair with a towel.)
Mm...a little. Was he the one who branded you?
Action
Sort of, but the mark is not a brand.
[And this is where it gets more complicated, but she'll try to make it make sense.]
I was created rather than born. Naraku had the ability to absorb other youkai and then create new and powerful ones. Imagine melting down the metal from knives and other objects and then using it to forge a sword. It was a little like that, only with living beings. He had a mark like this from one of the first youkai he absorbed, and it was passed on to my siblings and I.
[It's moments like these that really make it stand out to Kagura just how bizarre her life has been. Thankfully, Daenerys has proven to be an open minded and accepting friend. As an afterthought, she adds,]
I have no idea if it was put on our backs on purpose or if it just happened when we were created. I would hardly be surprised if he marked us deliberately, though.
Action
A sexist view, but men have proven to be a thorn in her side for a long time.)So more of a birthmark than a brand. (A strange, eerie connection and one that likely haunts Kagura. I will break the wheel. She had once dreamed of breaking chains too, setting everyone on equal footing - more or less. No more slaves.)
I take it he does not treat you well?
Action
[One she's not fond of, though she accepts it's part of her body, and it will regenerate whenever her injuries heal.]
That would be an understatement. He liked to tell me that he held my life in the palm of his hand. When he finally freed me, it was only to startle me long enough to deal a blow that would slowly and painfully kill me.
[She skips the graphic details of all of it, keeping to the information that's most important to know.]
I've been training and growing stronger so that if he ever comes here, I can return the favour.
Action
I'm sure you are stronger than him. Someone that cruel couldn't imagine you posing a viable threat. He thinks he knows you better than you know yourself.
(She has met men like him. And burned them alive.)
Action
As nice as Daenerys' words are, Kagura gently corrects her with an explanation.
]
He was well aware of the threat I could pose. One of his powers allowed him to cause my heart pain intense enough to bring me to my knees. He made certain he had the means of taking down every youkai he created, one way or another.
[She will happily insult Naraku at any given opportunity, but she can begrudgingly acknowledge that he's not stupid.]
He only underestimated me a little. He didn't expect me to learn his weakness, much less share it with people who considered me an enemy before.
[And it's here that Kagura relaxes, both from her friend's touch, and because she did get some closure in the end.]
A friend from a later point in time from my world was here before. He told me my sacrifice was not in vain.
