Hello! The current circumstances are less than ideal, but I can put this off no longer.

Whether you know me or not, I am Titus Alexius, formerly of the Reim empire. It is more or less accurate to say that I am sixteen years old. I have been conducting research with the Lunar Scientia for the past several months, and I have also had more than I can stand of living alone. Therefore, I have prepared a simple twenty-question survey!

In that case, perhaps a two-bedroom home, but we share one bedroom, and the second bedroom is always available for momentary silence or other related needs... Or something like that. And If you don't mind, please explain how having regrets and knowing this life will not last forever relate to eating good food...

Simple. I do not want to regret not having a favorite last meal when I am inevitably greeted by the void. What we do here is ephemeral, imaginary and leaves no impact on what we do when we return to wherever we truly belong. And where I belong is that void, an emptiness and silence that will be comforting... it is what I deserve.

I would miss my tea, though.

Well! I would personally like that, but I have no plans to push the issue. I too have noticed that this world and our experiences in it seem to be incapable of having any impact on the worlds we left... But I do not think it follows that it is "imaginary." ...Besides, if it is truly all that ephemeral and imaginary, then can you not simply regret it as much as you like regardless of how many delicious things you did or didn't eat? (Silence and emptiness aren't all that comforting, in my experience. But perhaps I didn't deserve it quite enough.)

If I am somehow fortunate it enough to be sent to the ending I deserve, then there will be no need to regret anything. However, I have been sent into exactly one other world before, and I feel that my future will contain more experiences that I do not want or need.

Please tell me about the other world you have been to! Was it a space station where rich people made you have sex? Or "Chroma Village" (I have friends who were previously in both of those places) I still cannot really understand how intentionally not eating delicious food is going to make anything easier for you in the future, but I respect your decision. If I ever cook for you, I will try to make sure it is not all that good What are you researching? (Also, you may touch my ears whenever you wish!)

It was a... city. Small. It was made up of four quadrants, each with a kind of leader. They disliked working with each other but each district had certain businesses and individuals that the others did not.

And my current interests are in botany, specifically in the creation and growth of plants. Mostly so I can fill my cafe with flowers of varying colors and sizes and shapes...

Are you willing to use magic in that research, or are you hoping to keep it, you know, "organic" Because I can use eighth-type rukh to make plants grow for you, if you like.

I do not. I played by the rules of that world and did what I had to. Though the knowledge was certainly helpful, I do not act as a medicine peddler any longer.

Eighth-type rukh affect phenomena and magic based around life! When visible to human eyes, they shine with a purple radiance. Eighth-type magic's highest compatibility is with fourth-type or yellow magic, which rules electrical phenomena; it is best neutralized or opposed by the seventh and first types—black, or force, and red, or heat, respectively. Healing magic and curse magic are among the subtypes of life magic!

Based on your description, I am also able to command some of your 'eighth-type rukh'.

I am curious. Where does raising the dead come into play within your system?

Well Such a thing is not possible, as far as I am aware. But if something like that is ever discovered, it will certainly be an application of eighth-type rukh. By the way, what do you think about living together in a home with me, and also Monsieur Serge Battour? He is a very kind and charming young man of Sanguis persuasion, whose circumstances as a (less favored?) member of his own world's aristocracy are quite complicated. In this theoretical arrangement, I imagine you would have your own bedroom! (Though, if you decide you are fine with bed sharing after all, perhaps I would join you there at times)

I am capable of it, though I do not know whether I can here. That particular kind of magic works best with the corpses of my people, not those who are from other worlds.
