You know this guy? [To be honest, stuck like this during this weather left Uenoyama with nothing to do but browse stuff on the device. And play guitar, but that's obvious.] His taste in music is shit.

Yeah. He was asking about pick-up lines. So I told him things Kaji-san would say.

Hah? [Kaji was in and then out faster than Uenoyama could properly react to. But he's very happy that he agreed!

That being said, Mafuyu gets a look from him, and it's a mix between "People still use those?" and "That shit never works tho", but he surprisingly keeps quiet. Mostly because Mafuyu's introducing him. Secondly- he never used pick up lines (because of the aforementioned beliefs and reasons) so he can't say for sure how effective they are.]

Hm.. I disagree!

[ Taichi wants people to like him. He does. But something like this kind of thing... it flies in the face of a lot of how most arts work. ]

I think of it more as people having fun and showing their creativity with their things they like. Otherwise you're insulting all the fans who put hard work into parodies and fanworks, karaoke singers who sing their faves because they love it. You're even shooting down movie remakes and stories inspired by others. Like the Disney movies or Shakespeare! It's not cheap just because you don't like it. I definitely can't agree with you on that.

Nah it actually seems fun, he just isn't dancing in front of Kagami and Kuroko, if it was just Kise and Midorima he might. For now, he is locking himself in the bathroom for this]

I live with my teammate, and we've got a few of the guys from back home staying over.

[So he definitely would not have been alone, though if it were just him and Midorima, they'd probably be playing Shogi, watching a movie or doing some other quiet activity. As it is now, Kagami is freaking out about the dogs, Kuroko is doing his thing. Kise would probably dance with him, but that means dancing in front of Kuroko and Kagami, which is not happening, at least not yet. So he snickers at the comment.]

Kise might go for it, the other three, I don't know. Sorry, you get a private showing today before I embarrass myself in front of a rival team. I'm not signing any casts if you laugh.

[He sticks his tongue out at Taichi in a show of teasing. Of course, he is no Taichi by any means, he is a basketball player, but Takao likes to dance; he has a good eye, rhythm, and balance, plus flexibility all things that make him the great point guard he is. Plus he picks a dance he knows well.]

[ OK BUT TAICHI IS DANCING ALONG WHILE HE WATCHES.

Significantly less gracefully but you know, Taichi can't stay still when there's a good beat?! It's more fun to dance together anyway. ]

[This is all good with Takao it makes it more fun if Taichi dances along, that's the point of a dance party right.

Taichi is definitely not a bad hypeman and it amps the point guard up. He may change up a few of the moves just by getting caught in Taichi's energy here.

This was a good idea, for the first time in a while he is not thinking about cursed water, rainstorms, or all the other mess that has slowly become his life. He is laughing, not the teasing snicker but full-on laughing by the time the song comes to an end and he flashes a wide genuine smile at the video.]

Man you're pretty good, your turn to pick the song.

[ He goes through some music and then ends up playing the Prismatican version of this. Taichi likes music like this a lot okay?? Give him badass sounds.

That said, he seems to have the girls' dance down pretty well too.

The only problem is he can't contain himself during the chorus so there's a lot of yelling of: ]

[He is rocking out and getting down and it is amusing, Taichi never fails to be an interesting guy and the song gets a snicker from Takao but actually, it's got a pretty good sound and after a moment he may not know the moves but he sure is dancing along, it's impossible not to.

It takes another second or two and he's catching on a bit more so that before it is said and done Taichi is not the only one jamming out or singing along as Takao joins in.]

[ They're definitely 100% dancing and singing the lyrics together. Taichi is a pretty good singer, but doesn't sound like a cute girl or a deep-deep man so it's a little awkward no matter what.

When they finish the song he yells ]

[This probably the most fun Takao has had ever on a video call and other than playing basketball with Midorima his favorite thing in the world, this may count as the most fun he has had since arriving here.


When the song finishes Takao gives an excited shout and drops down on the floor with a wide grin as he catches his breath a minute, grinning into the video.]

You know Emoji-san, you're a blast.

[ He seems positively thrilled when the song ends and does make sure to stop it before it plays again. He wants to chat, and he looks like he's running on pure energy now. ]

You too! Hehe, I didn't know how this party was gonna go since I've never done one like this, but I'm having so much fun!

Taichi can tell him about his b-day somewhere in here, hitting the shop today to get the bracelet XD
