[ The camera is clearly propped up neatly on a desk. He's leaning forward onto the desk, head in his hand as his focus is directly on it. He's wearing red, a rare pick for him, since he knows the white is a bit too much of a tell. And, there's at least a couple sets of visible wings: including the ones on top of his head. ]

I feel like we're getting a warm welcome with this rather persistent rain. For those more experienced than myself: is this common? I want to assume that it's not, since I imagine this city would be better equipped to handle constant flooding.

[ He shifts, leaning back away from the camera. ]

I know I'd rather be learning more about this city, the Prismals, and the types of people who arrived here from other worlds. Everything seems pretty fascinating. The different cultures, the history, the interesting and advanced technology.

So I'll ask, if you could be doing anything right now, what would it be?

Let's pretend that there's no consequences for your actions. You can do whatever your heart desires. If you don't want the world to know, you can be anonymous, though I don't think there's anything to be ashamed of.

[ This was something that he hadn't seen yet, wasn't it? Not just something but someone, but that in itself wasn't all that strange, what was strange were his features. He paused for a moment before speaking, head tilting slightly as he shifted fruitlessly to get a better look at the man on the other side of the screen. ]

[ He didn't wait for an answer, instead proceeding with his question regardless of whether it was wanted or not. ]

Your wings, are they functional?

[ He's not actually surprised by the question and he doesn't even really seem all that bothered by the idea of it, either. ]

I don't mind. Yes, they are functional. I can fly under normal circumstances. It'd be a pretty cruel prank to have this many wings and have them all be decoration.

[ He shifts. ]

I've heard around [ yeah, heard ] that people can get wings, but I haven't heard if they're functional.

[[In kind, Shigaraki answers in video. The angle might have caught his face if it weren't for the disembodied hand covering most of his face save for the peek through the spread fingers and the locks of white hair streaming over parts of the fingers.]]

I'm doing it. I'm holding out for Heroes. We're playing on a 2 round capture where we're all still winning every round. Until then, relaxing in a world where it's not dominated by overly egotistical fake-do-gooders makes for a really good time. There you have it.

Normal circumstances according to this place or your home?

[ he's fascinated, sure - because who wouldn't be? he shifts a little, leaning in as if to catch whatever he can of the man's face, and then he leans back. curious, really. ]

That's a fairly honest life. As for this place, there's an interesting variety of viewpoints. Some probably do fall into what you're calling the fake-do-gooders. But certainly, we're not dominated by any one type of person. I like seeing what people could become.

I'm assuming you mean hero in a literal sense, which you may very well not be.

Normal circumstances here. As long as there's nothing preventing me from flying, I can. Things like strange rain that keeps us from touching isn't what I'd call normal.

[[Tomura is used to the looks, or the chance to look and it doesn't make him shy away from the video feed in the least. For all intents and purposes of what someone could see looking that hard, he seems relaxed and a little curious himself.]]

I'm an honest person, even with contrary belief at times. A lot of people fall into that category, but really I'm looking for the ones that like to find themselves in the constant spotlight. That's right, you're right, actual people calling themselves heroes.

[[He muses a bit more, tilting his head to reach up and give a soft scratch to the side of his neck.]]

No one's a hero. The title is self imposed or imposed by grandeur someone else imposed on another person. So no, I'm not a hero and wouldn't want that insult slung my way.

[It's the wings that capture his attention first and foremost. What can he say? Birds of a feather flock together and all that.

The feed flickers on, revealing Belial seated back in his own chair with the device propped up across from him, and even in the dim light, there's shadows shifting at his back, small to start but gradually and gracefully extending out on either side of his body. It won't take a genius to figure out they're wings. Six of them, to be exact. Dark and leathery, a stark contrast to Ryo's own white.]

[ He glares at the wings shown. An irrational anger builds up inside of him as he wants to tear those wings off.

His eyes close as he settles his own emotions. He recognizes, at least, that his response to seeing others with wings is not "right" but that is the most of it.

When he settles his anger to something like irritation, he is able to respond in voice. ]

Kill god.

[ He pauses before he laughs. ]

You're probably right that there isn't any heroes, especially in the sense you mean. After all, if you were truly seeking good you wouldn't want a spotlight. They're unheard of where I'm from, except in pop culture, of course.

I would have never thought there would be a world like you're decribing. Interesting.

I'm usually a pretty honest guy, but I've gotten burned by that, or for being too trusting.

Let's just say angels aren't exactly on my trustworthy list.

[ Well look at that. He tilts his head as he leans in, fascinated by his wings. He considers what he said, the smallest hint of a smile towards the corner of his lips. ]

[ So - he'll ask, because what is decorum. ]

[Oh, he understands, does he? Or is he just saying that to placate him? Either way, he mirrors that smile and slowly crosses one leg over the other.]
