What do you consider to be a 'perfect gift'? Perfect for you to get and perfect in your eyes to give to someone else?
And no, I'm not crazy, this has nothing to do about Xmas (or Frilialia or whatever's called here), that's months away.
I'm just thinking up of some plans and I need a few ideas

[ There are plenty of American's who have never been to New York either, but Ash is meeting way more people from Japan than from his own country. ]
Getting a miniature hot dog is even worse. That's like buying a bite of food. People don't pay for samples.
[ It's best to allow the topic of world peace to pass. He isn't against it so much as he knows it's impossible. There's little reason to keep hammering in the possibility. ]
You'd know the guy better than me.
[ Who knows him not at all. ]

...
Well, you can definitively think that now. I am from Japan.
[Are there a lot of people from Japan? Kise doesn't usually ask, and the ones he knows that are from there are his ex-teammates.]
No no I think this orb summons the proper item! Like, full-sized, unless it's like a car
[Or fucking rickshaw]
I suppose so. I'll have to think more about it, but I think I have an idea what to do.

The people behind this operation really like the Japanese.
[ Ash has met a lot. Those usually not from Japan are from places that likely don't exist in his world. So far, he's met two others from the US, and they've both noted the scarcity of people within their area as well as the abundance of people from Japan. It's not a bad thing; Ash's favorite person is Japanese. But it's a trend he's noticed. ]
Like a car or rickshaw?
[ They seem to have the same thought. ]
If a guy's asking for one of those, he's probably not hurting for a lot of other stuff.

[Priorities.]
Precisely. They'd show up small. But apparently there's also some kind of water or potion to restore their size.
[Again- Midorima did it to his damn rickshaw.]
No, I suppose he's not.

[ As useful as that'd be in a world without the LA Lakers. ]
Not that I blame you, but it's pretty weird to hear somebody wanting to visit US and not want to go to Hollywood.

Tho no Lakers here :(
Weird?
Maybe?
I'm a sports junkie. So when I think traveling to the USA is to either watch every single basketball game I can get my hands on OR just being lazy on a beach.

If you're looking for a beach, the Caribbean would make more sense. That's where they start getting away from the kind of beaches you can find anywhere.

Caribbean sounds more like a romantic spot to me. I'd probably visit it with someone, rather just myself
no subject
They let you in even if you're by yourself.

Maybe we could get a recording or something :O
I KNOW THAT
It's just not as fun when you're alone

[ And sarcasm is his default. Even his comment about the Carribbean was sarcasm. ]
We? You're the one looking to watch them.
no subject
You don't like basketball?
[He includes Ash into watching session too if he's interested, tho his first thought was gathering his ex-teammates for a game night. Ash could totally join!]

[ Which is probably a surprise considering how popular it is among teens in New York. It's a free activity that anyone can play, though at various skill levels. ]

I own a sports center here if you want to drop by and watch some. Local teams tend to have friendly matches all the time there.

What all do you offer?

There is soccer and track field outside. Then there are pools, basketball courts, archery range, volleyball courts, a gym and a few other things inside. There's spa and sauna on the top floor, as well as a sports doctor, to prevent injuries and emergencies.

Big place, but it doesn't sound like a bad spot for people to try out.
[ Ash hasn't played very many sports so if he decides to tip is toe into the water, it sounds like a good place to start. ]
no subject
Yup! There are a lot of people that come to just swim around and then hang out on the top floor at the bar or in the spa. And every sport has a coach to instruct you if you never played it.
no subject
I might stop by. I already know how to play most sports so I'm not really looking for a coach, but it's not like there's not enough free time here.
