There is some technology, but none nowhere near this advanced while also being so utterly commonplace. [ Ancient Allagan relics aside... ] We have ships to fly through the air, but their construction and operation are time-consuming and require significant resources.

Magic is abundant, but we yet use oil and coals to light homes, if need be.

I think Prismatica's true virtue is the abundance. All may have light in their home, all may take the transportation, all may have food that does not spoil.
