This may be a strange request, but we're all from different worlds so it may not be that strange after all. A friend is helping me with something, and I'm wondering if more minds to it could give her a hand. [Ha. Get it?]

She's working on developing and building me a new arm. Nothing fancy or flashy, but it'd be nice if it could have feeling.

If I can help with anything in return, I'll be happy to return the favor within reason.

probably about as well as your local neurosurgeon knows how to construct and work with organic electronics in the context of the prosthetic itself. not to mention design and construction. then there's calibration and upkeep...

three concepts for basic layout/function, two that are probably more credible than the third. but that credibility depends pretty heavily on what's available here, which is hit-or-miss because of the way the grid's set up.

so adaptation needs to be established before design.

how realistic do you need it to be? do you just want nerve function? or do you want skin and fingernails and stuff?
