It's at a slightly off angle, but the source of the young man's irritation is relatively obvious: Iris has seen to bless our dear former knight with some rather cute, fuzzy attachments - namely rounded ears, pale circles around his eyes, and a very large, long fluffy tail that's flicking about in irritation behind his back. All of it is a mix of his natural silver and a deeper gray.

Oh, my apologies. I didn't intend to embarrass you... Moonblessings can certainly be very mysterious!

In any case, if you dislike the changes to your appearance, you can always use chromawear or your apartment's mirror console to revert to how you normally look holographically.

I've attempted to use the technology of this place exactly one time outside of this device and it was an absolutely awful experience, so I'd rather not risk making things worse for myself.
