hello. zuko here. a couple things:

1. for some people chroma is really difficult or weird or uncomfortable. a lot of people come from hard worlds, with difficult lives at home that aren't so touchy-feely like this, and it's hard to adjust, especially for new people. on the 20th of every month there's a social support group for anyone touch-averse to avoid the awkwardness, still get chroma, and have a mutual understanding between everyone there.

there's also private talk therapy with a professional doctor available. there will be free food, a raffle for a prize, scary movies, a haunted house, and a bonfire. meet at the community center, runs all evening. you can wear costumes if you want. anyone can come, alone or with a friend, just be respectful of others' space, thats why we're there. easy icebreaker for easy chroma and a way to meet new people and feel some support maybe. contact me or otonashi (un: otoproxy) if you have questions.

apart from that.....
2. i'm looking for people to play some sports from my home, we need at least six more.
one is a team game called kuai ball, which i guess is like volleyball... simple rules, hard game.

the other is a Fire Nation children's game called Hide and Explode, it's a stealth/strategy game, like tag but you hide and make traps around your hiding spot with lots of little bombs, it's fun. i swear it's safe, kids play it (just don't throw the bombs AT people, hurts)

3. oh and i just saw movies for the first time
i watched Kill Will and Mad Matt: Rage Road
amazing
i want to know more about movies
there's no such thing in my world

that's all thanks

2. That Hide and Explode game sounds amazing. Wish I got to play that growing up.

3. Movies were new for me too when I arrived here.

I have some smoke bombs. Are those allowed?

A few. My partner and I watched some about a detective in London. Made me think of home.

That's bloody clever. I'll have to remember this game when I get back to London.

It's a city. Huge city, where I live.
I thought so. But then, I got to do a bit of detective work with my sister and our little friend Artie, so the movies made me think of that.

That's kind of you to offer to help others like this. Everyone has different limits when it comes to things like touching like they expect us to do.

Even if it wasn't your idea, you're still doing your part right now.

... It feels wrong that energy is transferred through touch alone. Closeness like that-- shouldn't be forced.

... No. But, I can imagine how bad that would be if you ended up in the arms of the wrong person.

There are some people here who I wouldn't put my trust in so easily, but-- there are a lot of good people in this world, too. People who wouldn't take advantage of others.

That's true
It's hard to wrap my head around some of those things
I hadn't thought of them as moving paintings, but that's a good point :)

There are all sorts of movies out there. There's bound to be one your uncle will like.

Hello, Zuko!

1. Is it okay for people who are not touch-averse to attend the social? Obviously while respecting everyone's space. (Also, may I ask what exactly therapy is? This is the second time I'm hearing about it recently.)

2. Physical feats are not exactly my forte, but I am willing to try; the games sound like fun! Is it allowed to use magic?

3. You know, we also did not have them in my world when I first came here, but in the intervening years while I was back there, they were suddenly developed. They aren't yet as sophisticated as the ones here, of course. The ones here are amazing, aren't they? I saw one recently called The World Prior to Chronology, and I cried so much that I became dehydrated! Some other ones I like are The Prince Groom, Sanguizilla vs Cordithra, and Space Battles.

.... I understand. I was in a world like that for a long time. I'm sorry that your home is like that.

But, maybe the fact that people are so trusting here might be good for you. We all should be able to experience kindness from others.

1. This must be a field of medicine we don't have in our world! It's too bad I won't remember about it when I go back. I am sure Sphintus would be interested. (Perhaps we could finally discover what is wrong with his brain, LOL.)

2. Oh, the bomb one is fine! It's the volleyball one I expect to find difficult without magic. (I think I had begun to gain some muscle tone from ice skating and things when I was here before, but of course I didn't retain it... and my duties at home involve little in the way of aerobic exercise)

3. It was extremely moving!!! Tinytoes felt so alone after he lost his mother, and he and his friends had to try so hard to finally make it to safety in the Grand Vale!! I cannot think of anyone who would not have wept at the sight.

Sanguizilla is an immensely destructive yet noble beast who wields the power of the red moon to alternately protect and demolish the world. Cordithra is a divine and benevolent creature with mighty wings and beam attacks powered by the blue moon! She and Sanguizilla fought bitterly but eventually joined forces to save the world from a monster that came out of a big meteor or something. (By the way, I am Cordis!) Apparently they meet up with the courageous purple moon guardian, Gamiris, in a sequel, but I haven't seen that one.

Well, The Prince Groom is not particularly about princes or weddings, despite the name... though it does feature a modest amount of kissing. But now I am curious: Do you really plan to permanently stop caring about prince stuff?

(Oh by the way I was only joking about Sphintus's brain. I suppose it is too unkind to make fun of him when he is not here to defend himself)

There's a...support group for people who are touch adverse?

[ Where has he been and why hasn't he heard about this until now?! ]

It sounds...really nice. I'll definitely come by.

2. Oh! You have a sister? And she's here? How wonderful!! You know, I also have a sister, kind of. (Well, I kind of have many sisters, considering there were a lot of clones of Lady Scheherazade other than me, but that's not who I mean now)

Sadly, she isn't here, so she and I cannot team up to annihilate you and your sister! :) But I shall do my best on her behalf.

3. She saved him from the fearsome Keenfang but was mortally wounded in the process. It was heart-rending!! And Tinytoes would probably think you are the one with a dumb name.

Shall we watch them, then—the Sanguizilla movies, and Space Battles? We can "Moonflix and chill"! (Or perhaps not, since I seem to recall that meant something other than simply chilling out with Moonflix.)

You are really making a lot of assumptions about the Prince Groom. It's very adventurous and dramatic! You ought to give things a chance before deciding they are childish or unworthy of your attention!
wearingguess: (splash of ginger in mine please)

2. Ah, so much family to be here. It's too bad things are weird, but apparently they often are, with family. Do Iroh and Azula get along? And does it bother you that she won't tell you when she is from? (For a time, there were others from my world here... I think they were probably from around the same point in time as I myself now am, but back then it was years into my future. They would have told me what had become of me, but I never asked because I was too afraid of what the answer might be... Is it like that for you, or do you want to know?)

By the way, Marga is also both older and younger, but she always has been! She is nine now!

3. Let's do it tonight! Or tomorrow or the day after. We can pop corn!! (Do they have corn in your world?? We don't in mine.)

I have no idea what the best movies are, but I have heard that The Prince Groom has some kind of niche religious following, which is certainly impressive in its own way
