You've never had them before? It's made out of pounded rice and sometimes, water and sugar! They're really soft and chewy, but also you can fill them with things too! But that's something called daifuku.

There's really no set standard for what rice should be, especially since it's such a versatile ingredient!
The pounding turns it into a paste that's sticky and gelatinous, which allows it to be molded and formed into whatever shape you'd like!

It really is, I swear! It's rice because I made it from scratch. It took a lot of effort, you know?!

Well I am used to the quiet, but sometimes it's nice to hear other people talk as background noise. It's not like I have a roommate or anything, so putting something on like that really helps.
