[ The video post flickers on to show two people, both looking rather different in demeanor. The taller of the two looks to have a scowl on his face, and eyes and hair a matching deep green. He’s not happy to be here, he doesn’t even feel comfortable leaving the apartment. Which is why he’s here with the shorter of the two boys.
It would’ve been hard to tell that the scruffy, blue-haired boy is the older of the two, but that’s probably part of his charm and it shows in how he addresses the network with a bright smile and a wave of his hand, as if he were a natural at this. ]
--Oh, I think we’re on! Hello, Lunatia! We’d like to introduce ourselves first of all: My name is Aoba Tsumugi, and this kind lad over here is my roommate! Ah, you should say hello too, Midorima-kun!
[ He gestures at the screen as smoothly as he could.
Midorima’s brows furrow before he’s even finished talking, looking mildly annoyed. What he’s annoyed about becomes apparent within only a few seconds as he doesn’t say hello and instead focuses in on correcting what he thinks was wrong with that sentence. ]
Who’s a “kind lad”? Focus on the task at hand.
[ Apparently, that’s all the greeting he’s bothering with. Tsumugi can only sigh a little before facing the screen again, smile still intact. ]
This is Midorima Shintarou, by the way. Seriously, kids these days… Um, but before I go off track, the reason why we’ve put this up is because we have one thing in common, and that is horoscopes. Luck, in general. Do you know there are apps here that tells you your daily fortune and what lucky item to bring around with you to ward off bad luck? Technology’s so amazing! Even though we’re from different worlds, it’s nice to know that there are other people who believe in them -- and that is why we are here today.
[ Midorima’s worried that Tsumugi’s going to go on for too long, so he chimes in with a much more direct demand of their audience over the network. ]
Respond with your astrological sign or birthday if you aren’t sure. We’re also looking to know what items are considered lucky in other worlds that may be incorporated into an apartment.
Y-You can just ask nicely them, you know! People wouldn’t know how to respond if you’re being demanding like that... [ why are tsunderes the way they are, man ] Anyway, it’d be very helpful for us to know everyone’s signs and birthdays to balance out of luck if it ever goes bad for a day so that we can stick with those people for a while… I’m a Leo and he’s a Cancer, if that helps.
Also! If anyone knows other forms of divination such as palmistry and tarot, that’d be greatly appreciated as well… I’m honestly more comfortable consulting with someone privately about my fortunes rather than rely on technology all the time, so let me know if it’s all right to approach you for regular sessions! I’ll pay with Chroma if I have to.
[ Midorima just decides to move on and end the video. He’s not going to give Tsumugi the chance to say goodbye. ]
We’re done.
[ And the video cuts out. ]

[ tsumugi you can't just say that on the network when the guy's literally seated right next to you, tf ]
But oh! Do tell me what you've learned from tarot! Does this mean Eichi-kun believes in fortunetelling now? I'm so happy ♪
no subject
As for that, it may be something better left for us to discuss in private. I'm afraid I lost any touch I might have had before with it, so it may not be helpful, but we can meet whenever you'd like.
[He's not gonna answer whether he believes or not...]

[ "so does this mean we're friends again," tsumugi wanted to ask, but he knows better than to unload something like that in a public network, so he holds his tongue instead. eichi would rather want to talk about the things he'd learned, anyway. ]
Are you that curious about what your horoscope says for today, though? I'm very sorry about Midorima-kun, but I'll look it up for you if you're still interested.

It's nothing too bad though, since your horoscope is middling in today's ranks. It says that you should finish everything you need to do as early as possible. The dinner you'll have would taste richer than usual too. Isn't that great?
Your lucky color is silver, and your lucky item is an electric dictionary. Though knowing you, procuring these lucky things would be a cinch.

[He purposefully doesn't leave it at hold hands.]
It's just that there was one person that I ended up moonlacing with so often that it was a constantly supply of chroma. That steady supply has ended now, so I'm a little more aware of it.

Oh dear, I hope they're all right wherever they are... They must mean so much to you if they've moonlaced with you so many times like that.
[ there's a dull pang in his heart, but it's fine. feenay. ]
Have you been doing well on your own since then? I know that you have a lot of friends at this point, but I'd still extend a helping hand if you need someone else for variety![ unless that's still too much... ]
no subject
That's probably something that should be discussed in person. You should focus on yourself, though, you know. I've been doing just fine, so there's no need to worry.

I've been doing fine as well. Midorima-kun and I are working on filling up this one vacant room in our apartment with as many lucky items we can fit into it so that we'd be forever blessed with great fortune during our stay here in Lunatia. We still have a long way to go, though.

For example, I've told you many times that my glasses is a lucky charm, right? It's why I can never get rid of it.

They're usually recommendations given by expert fortunetellers, but usually you can get more unique charms at shrines and the like. You should try getting one as a souvenir at the very least, Eichi-kun! It won't ever harm your wallet, I can assure you.

But I'm not trying to influence your way of living. Please do whatever you'd like.

[ he'll consult him about the details of their little hangout privately later. ]
