In the place I was at before, I asked this, but I figure it can't hurt to ask here too.

If you had to choose:

- A maid cafe (with cute uniforms!!)
- A Japanese restaurant (with sushi!) (and probably cute uniforms!!)
- A normal cafe (boring, but whatever) (but it'd have cute uniforms)

[ He had the cooking skills, might as well put them to use if he could manage to get stuff for the menu he wanted. It'd take more looking into, but... ]

Japanese restaurant. There're enough from Japan here you may as well cater to the inevitable homesickness and desire for familiarity.

[ He says, because Caihong is much more slated toward a Chinese touch (weirdly??? he doesn't get it) and he's met more than a few Japanese people here. People like Konoha deserve a nice space with familiar foods!

... Maybe! How much has Japanese cuisine changed over the centuries? (...) He has no idea. This is a silly question to ask himself.

If that's what your heart's set on, then go for it? The bigger population to appeal to are the Prismals. Find enough Moonblessed staff and you'd have your client base come in easy enough.

Food from home is both a comfort and a lure, but if you're trying to get into business running something, go with your own passion. It's a waste otherwise.

Then you have an idea of what your most important goals with this. Food from home! And some kind of maid dynamic in uniforms and service? With normal cafe offerings too, for a wider appeal.
