[It's maybe half an hour after Cordis' first moonrise of the month when Akechi comes onto the network, sounding...mildly distressed.]

Does anyone know where I could find pants that would fit over a tail? Specifically one that I can't just slide through a hole.

[He pauses, and there's the sound of feathers rustling.]

Some advice on modifying existing clothing to fit would be nice too. And, as a lower priority...shirts I can wear with wings.



(OOC: Ren Amamiya is going to be bringing him something he can wear, but general advice is still welcome. He'll turn down offers to bring him clothing directly from anyone he doesn't know and who isn't about the same size as him.)

I don't think I could easily modify my old clothes for these, anyway. My tail is like some sort of cross between a cat's and a bird's, so I'd need something with some sort of closure over the tail.

I don't suppose you know where I'd be able to find a store with a decent selection of clothes designed around extra limbs?

Sure, lotsa places. They're used to folks with extra parts 'round here. Even... cat-bird tails, though I'm havin' trouble imaginin' that.

Guess for starters... you been to that little diner on Level 2, near the Prismanodes? 'Bout two stores down from there's a little thrift stores. They usually got all kinds.

Like I said, though. If you don't find anything that suits your fancy there, there's a lot of shops.

I know where you're talking about, and used clothes won't be a problem, as long as they look decent. I guess from there, I can talk to store clerks about how they organize their more specialized stock.

[It's definitely a good fallback if he can't get something to wear out tonight. He wouldn't want to spend a lot on clothes that might not be comfortable fits for his wings and tail.]

So... cat tail, but a couple'a feathers. [Engineer's quiet for a moment, then sputters out a quiet, incredulous laugh.] Welp. I was a fish man the last few days, so I ain't got room to judge.

[Home is about as weird as this place is, though, so he wouldn't have judged too harshly anyhow.]

My "traits" are usually more... snake-like, though, so I ain't paid attention to how each store does what. But knowin' the demand here... I'm guessin' it won't be hard.

More than a couple. They run down the entire length of the tail, sticking out of opposite sides.

I guess it'll be easier to get help finding something when I can actually show people what I'm dealing with...
